“These actions were directed against the Iraqi government, which was responsible for the assassination plot. Saddam Hussein has demonstrated repeatedly that he will resort to terrorism or aggression if left unchecked. Our intent was to target Iraq's capacity to support violence against the United States and other nations, and to deter Saddam Hussein from supporting such outlaw behavior in the future. Therefore, we directed our action against the facility associated with Iraq's support of terrorism, while making every effort to minimize the loss of innocent life.”

Word, watching that video, I cannot help but compare how Clinton looked then, just months after inauguration, to photos of him in 2001. Bush was similar. Both looked fairly young, healthy and energetic at the start, and just a little haggard and run over at the end.

Exellent post,WS. This illustrates just how intellectually and morally bankrupt the liberals are on most, if not all issues.

I always call him Bill” Blowjob” Clinton in conversations.

Fast forward to 2003 and beyond…this asshat was opposed to GWB’s regime change policy. Hypocrite.

He used those Tomahawk cruise missiles again when the House was debating a vote on impeachment in the summer of 1998. Those missiles ended up slamming those terrorist who were making aspirins…

johngalt and Ivan: I think this is the last of a series of quick posts I had scheduled to be published half a year ago or more ago……forgot all about it. 😉

I know everyone’s familiar with all this stuff, but it’s always interesting to revisit.
