Robert Gibbs: It’s still Bush’s fault, you know [Reader Post]

Former Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs seemed to be playing tit for tat the other day.

But he still blamed Bush.

Robert Gibbs says this election is not about “affixing blame” to the economic crisis after he noted people still blame Bush more than Obama for the troubled economy.

Gibbs also responds to Obama’s “bump in the road” comment that Romney pounced on in a web ad.

“This is not going to be and I’m not setting this up to be an election to blame George Bush, but what I’m suggesting is a series of decisions that got us into the mess is not a series of decisions we ought to make to get us out of it,” Gibbs told CNN’s David Gergen.

Gibbs is no different from Obama. Reality means nothing.

They have failed.

Since Biden is arguably the dumbest man ever to be VP, I think it would be appropriate if Gibbs became his press secretary. That way the dumbest VP could have the dumbest press secretary…

Imagine it for a moment. Gibbs could say that the VP is unveiling his new program to help the unemployed. He could mention that it is a big program with a little name, only three letters – J O B S.

    Just sayin’.

  4. I don’t know what they would do to escape the truth if they didn’t have BUSH TO LEAN ON,
THEY ARE DOING THE SAME THING THE UNION’S BULLYS DID TO SILENCE
    THEIR OPPONANT IN WISCONSIN,
A GOVERNMENT OF BULLYS STRAIGHT FROM THE UNION’S BOSSES,
AND THE DEMOCRATS HIDING THEM SO THEY CAN SAVE THEIR PARTY.

“DC Bob” Gibbs needs to read his DNC Chairman’s crib sheets! According to Debbie Schultz, Dems should tear up their talking papers of the last two years…… Obama now ‘owns’ the economy — it’s no longer W’s fault!!

The Market was so impressed with that comment yesterday — it plummeted 178+ points!!

Is Robert Gibbs a paid or an unpaid spokesperson for the Obama campaign?
In January this year Gibbs said he was stepping down from being official WH spokesman to becoming an outside adviser to Obama.
    What does THAT cost?
Gibbs ”job” for Obama is “to shape the dialogue politically.”
    (According to USAToday.)
I bet it pays really well.

  9. Warren Beatty, hi,
how about getting JED BUSH IN THE RACE FOR PRESIDENCY?
I’m sure he would have a lot of corrections to make to AMERICANS who have been convinced by the DEMOCRATS AND MEDIA of THE BUSH’S FAULTS,
that would trigger a tide coming out of the SURF from the EAST toward the SURF OF THE WEST
FROM SOUTH TO NORTH OF THIS AMERICA, DENOUNCING
the lies of the DEMOCRAT’S MACHINE,
SOME HEADS WOULD FALL SO FAST, THAT WE WOULD SEE THEM
HEADLESS RUNNING IN THE STREETS OF AMERICA
