Democrat’s theme for the 2012 Election: Barack Obama vs. A Racist [Reader Post]

In an interview on Meet the Depressed, David Gregory accused Newt Gingrich of using coded racist language in criticizing Barack Obama:

DAVID GREGORY, HOST: What, what about jobs? Jobless rate now at 9 percent. You gave a speech on Friday in Georgia, and you said the following about this president:

NEWT GINGRICH: You want to be a country that creates food stamps, in which case frankly Obama’s is an enormous success. The most successful food stamp president in American history. Or do you want to be a country that creates paychecks?

Geithner lays groundwork to blame economy/housing woes on GOP and debt ceiling

With a failing and ailing housing market that Zillow predicts won’t hit bottom until 2012 *at the earliest*…, a US dollar with rapidly declining value driving prices of oil up, as well as every product down line in the transportation chain, this administration’s leadership thru the US economic woes have proven not to steer the nation towards recovery, but instead thrown us into a double dip recession.

Americans enjoy an orgy of fruit while the roots of Tree of Liberty are shredded…[Reader Post]

Not leisure measured in hours worked as the French, Germans and workers in virtually every other developed country work fewer hours per year than Americans do. No, what’s different is that leisure time in the United States has so many ways of being spent. Motocross. Shopping. Television. Amusement parks. Golf. Swimming. Skiiing. Football. Baseball. Horseback riding. Golf. Off track betting. Gymnastics. Theater. College classes. Karate. Star Trek conventions. Habitat for Humanity. BBQ competitions. Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. This is only a tiny fraction of the myriad ways Americans have at their disposal to entertain themselves or spend their leisure time. Continue reading

The Great Seducers

The secret is not so well kept, there are women who are attracted to men in power. The drive is probably biological, so we need not be too hard on these pathetic weaklings who feed the egos of hedonists by compromising their bodies and their self-respect. At least, there is a measure of consent at some point. In the end, a woman feels empowered and a man feels the hubris of Caesar as he spread his seed over ancient Europe. Eventually, there is the realization that they have betrayed the trust of those who believed in them, but more importantly, they have betrayed themselves to trade integrity and dignity for a few moments of lust.
