On June 28th in Rockville, Maryland, breast cancer patients and their families will protest a Food and Drug Administration hearing designed to deny patients access to the late-stage drug Avastin.
Organized by Terry Kalley, the husband of a breast cancer patient who is alive today because of the drug, patients will demand the FDA stop its effort to ration the drug. They deserve our support. Continue reading

French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde is being considered as his replacement. The jobs has benefits, staying in $3,000 night hotel rooms with complete maid service, at least in Europe are considered part of the package among Europe’s privileged Elite. However, since DSK managed to expose the seamier side of the of the European class of ‘noblesse’ and their dubious feelings ‘noblesse oblige’ toward the common masses, concepts that play so conveniently for the European Socialist, the world is beginning to question the wisdom of installing European Socialists to run this complex and powerful monetary fund. “In thinking about the 2012 Presidential Election suppose you had a choice between a Republican candidate and Democrat Barack Obama. If the election were held today would you vote for the Republican candidate or Democrat Barack Obama?”
- Republican Candidate 45%
- Barack Obama 43%
Just as every Christmas brings the same tired argument over nativity scenes, Christmas trees and Santa Claus, every election cycle brings forth a fresh attempt to ignore the Constitutional establishment of the Electoral College, and allow the city centers to run roughshod over rural Americans. The 2012 election is no different, but it does bring a fresh approach to the age old problem of a “popular vote” Presidential election… by having the state legislators pass a law, obligating their EC votes to the national popular vote winners.
