One of the easiest ways to recognize a liberal is their refusal to accept that the universe is dynamic rather than static. The most obvious example of this is their perpetual inability (or unwillingness) to grasp the notion that increasing taxes and growing regulations impact taxpayer behavior. This can be seen in on a number of levels. On the state level it can be seen by companies and wage earners fleeing high tax locales for those with low taxes or no income taxes. I have known a few really good hunters; although, I don’t include myself among that august group. I am incredibly lucky and that alone has saved my bacon on numerous occasions; actually, being incredibly lucky, sums up my bear hunting skills. Otherwise, I would have passed over that great divide several times. Usually, you a need a lot of luck when you make an incredible mistake; I have made many and I am still here among the living. Typically, it involves a mistake in judgement or breaking one of the simple rules of common sense.

Six dollar a gallons coming up?
With the greenback coming under increased pressure from Federal Reserve policies and investor appetite for more risk, there seems little direction but up for commodity prices, in particular energy and metals.
Weakness in the US currency feeds upward pressure on commodities, which are priced in dollars and thus come at a discount on the foreign markets.
Obama and his democrat thugs are making every effort to hamstring Republican fund raising efforts. The tools they are using for this purpose only add gasoline to the brightly burning fire of democrat hypocrisy. Obama has signaled that he once again will try to bypass Congress and out of thin air fabricate self-serving government rules to limit Republican fund raising. Continue reading
