I find this hilarious:
Libyan rebels regained ground in a new advance on an oil port on Wednesday but accused NATO of inaction hindering their quest to oust Muammar Gaddafi.
NATO said Gaddafi was making it increasingly difficult for its pilots to carry out air strikes by ensconcing his forces in heavily populated areas and using civilians as human shields.
…“God willing, we are going to try to enter Brega today,” said rebel Idriss Abdel Karim, but he and various comrades complained of a lack of support from NATO bombers.
The ObamaCare bill was riddled with land mines all designed to implement rationing of health care treatments and procedures in order to “reduce the cost” of health care expenditures to the government. Those provisions include the establishment of “comparative effectiveness research” and the creation of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB). Comparative effectiveness research will provide the justification for denial of care that will be carried out by the IPAB. It is critical people understand the pending threats to their health care freedom so let’s take a look at these two provisions of law. Continue reading

The poor man whined about Congress interfering and forcing him to try KSM in the military rather than the civilian system. I agree somewhat with what Jennifer Rubin writes here….there aren’t many people on the Republican side with “the “campaign” skills, the depth of knowledge and the philosophical gravitas of a Paul Ryan.”
Rep. Paul Ryan (R- Wis.) and his staff obviously planned the budget roll-out with meticulous care. The right is gushing (at Heritage, at Americans for Tax Reform, and on talk-radio with conservative favorites such as Bill Bennett, Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh). In the Senate, Ryan snagged the support of two stalwart conservatives Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.). Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) praised the effort.

Curt pointed out the “unrepentant” Terry Jones to us here. Jones held a mock trial and burned a Quran on March 20. The reaction in the Muslin world has been as uncivilized, vicious and barbaric as it was predictable.

Life not fair. Nor for that matter is it unfair. It simply is. It’s not fair or unfair that the lion feasts on the slowest zebra or that the penguin who leaps into the ocean at just the wrong moment becomes dinner for an Orca. Life is life… fair doesn’t come into play.
Fair is a fundamentally human concept that is defined by a lack of preference or favoritism and or injustice.
Despite its subjective nature, fairness is a word that the left loves to bring to what should be an objective realm, politics. Continue reading
