    Most of the Lefties trying in vain to defend Obama are disappointed that his promises proved to be false in days, not months.

    Rand Paul is having some fun with this. Hot Air is calling it “Humiliating dullards for sport” (Harry Reid being the dullard).

    Bad news: Rand Paul outsmarts, embarrasses slow-witted Democrat quotes NRO:

    On Wednesday, Paul, with little notice, attached an amendment to the small-business re-authorization bill. The amendment, which chastises President Obama for his actions in Libya, urges members to adopt the president’s own words as “the sense of the Senate.”

    To make his point, Paul quoted, in the legislative language, from Obama’s 2007 remarks on the subject: “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.” According to Paul’s office, “the measure aims to put the Senate on record affirming Congress as the body with constitutional authority on matters of war.”

    GOP sources tell National Review Online that Paul’s proposal flummoxed Reid, who does not want his members to have to weigh in on Obama’s dusty quote about congressional authority, even if the vote is only to table the measure.

    Reid recessed the Senate rather than let the vote on Paul’s amendment take place. Too funny!

    Gotta be careful here. I was taken to task on another website by someone who didn’t have the balls to comment on my site (I don’t and won’t block anyone. I want the feedback) as being a hard core white racist! My, crime? Using the President’s words. actions and associations against him in my assessments and comments as to his sad sack administration. Whenever one points out inconsistencies (can’t use the words “outright lies and hypocrisy”), I’m and others are branded racist. If one points out the shameful actions by the DOJ as to the Black Panther voter intimidation, we are branded racist. If one points out the need for self responsibility rather than earning one’s way, we are branded racist. And on and on!

    Any way one looks at this, if they will just open their mind and actually look and listen, read and study, and take their so called leader at face value as to his words and actions, the end result is clear. They would have to come to the conclusions I and others have. I believe in guilt by association, by one’s words and one’s actions. Obama is exactly what he has always been. A Marxist/Socialist/ Anti-Israeli/Anti-American ideals hard lefty. Pure and simple. He will lie and ignore the laws of the land to achieve his set goals. And since he and his lackeys have no sound basis as to explain their wayward actions, they and their followers will continue to throw whatever they can put there to turn the attention away from their deceit. And the racism charge will always be number one. I know. I’ve been branded as such for simply pointing out the facts as curt does above.

    Remember this one that theOne told Diane Sawyer last year?

    “I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president.”

    He’s apparently going to formally announce his re-election campaign next week. Since he couldn’t be a “good one-term president” I guess he’s going to try to settle for being a “mediocre two-term president.”

    @Wisdom

    Well, He’s got a lot of catching up to do just to fall into the mediocre category. Nicely dressed and well-spoken(when the teleprompter is with him) doesn’t mean much when much of the country is up in arms over his leftist agenda and unlawfulness of his admin.
