Shocker! Democrat Party Members Charged For Election Fraud

Loading

What I find interesting about this story isn’t the fact that some Democrats were charged with this crime, that isn’t surprising in the least. What’s interesting is the fact that the media is playing up the fact that they were former Democrat officials.

When these two committed the crimes they weren’t “former” officials, they were ACTIVE officials of the party. They only became “former” officials when the crimes were discovered. (h/t Ace of Spades HQ)

Two former leaders of the Oakland County Democratic Party are facing a total of nine felonies for allegedly forging election paperwork to get fake Tea Party candidates on November’s ballot.

“It is not a partisan statement, and we need to make that very clear,” said Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper.

Former Oakland County Democratic Chair Mike McGuinness and former Democratic Operations Director Jason Bauer face up to 14 years in prison if convicted.

“Some of the people didn’t even know they were on the ballot till they began receiving delinquency notices of filings that were required as a candidate,” said Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.

The sheriff says 23 statewide races had questionable Tea Party candidates on the ballot and the investigation may go beyond Oakland County.

Is it just me or is Charlie Langton, the writer of the article above, trying his best to minimize the damage done to the Democrat party in Michigan?

Couple quotes I have to point out:

John Tramontana, a spokesperson for the state Democratic Party, told FOX 2 that this was not a state party issue and it’s not our place to comment.

Baloney. How in the world isn’t it a party issue? The sheriff said it may go beyond the county there so I find it hard to believe it isn’t a issue for the state Democratic Party.

“It’s not illegal to be a non-serious candidate. That’s not what’s being alleged here.”

What exactly is a “non-serious candidate?” Someone who runs having no intention of serving? That should be illegal if it isn’t.

While I’m sure that there was nothing technically illegal because of its connection to campaign lawyers, there is a similar fake Tea Party-sounding group that operated in the Nevada Senate race in 2010. Called “The Patriot Majority,” the group was funded by the entirely wholesome combination of unions (SEIU, AFT, Carpenters, Laborers, Sheetmetal Workers) and casinos (MGM, Mirage, Harrah’s). The organization itself was operated by Senator Harry Reid’s former communication director, Craig Varoga (aka, Mr. Astroturf), who operates a variety of similar organizations.

You can find out more at the link below, including direct links to campaign disclosure records.

A Fake Tea Party Group Appears in Nevada
http://soquelbythecreek.blogspot.com/2010/10/fake-tea-party-group-appears-in-nevada.html

The Patriot Majority has become a lot more obvious about their political affiliation and now features a video from President Obama on their web page.

Remember, when it comes to fake political organizations, always “look for the union label.”

I’m a little confused by what I’ve read at this and the two other sites, Fox and Ace.
Were the names on the ballots real Tea Party people who just never knew they were ”running?”
OR, were fake Tea Party people put forward as IF they were really Tea Party people?
OR, were fake Tea Party names put on the ballot without the knowledge of the fake him/her self?

Many states had democrats trying to dilute the conservative vote by putting up a candidate as a fake Tea Party member.

Anyway, great catch about the media calling these perps ”FORMER” Democrat Party Leaders.

Typical liberals. They can’t win in a fair fight so they resort to subterfuge and obfuscation.

They have no shame.

Nan G, these groups were created to lead confusion in the ballot boxes so that TEA party voters would splinter their votes to someone who is tagged on the ballot box as a TEA Party member by name branding. Luckly such an attempt at the ballots failed. Some of these people exist but do not belong to TEA parties but willing assisted the Democrats, and other names don’t hence why there’s a need to investigate the prospects of fraud.

I don’t know what is worse here, that the faux parties if they had won would surrender their authority power over to Democrats which can be seen as a rigging of election ballots by various State Laws pending where it took place or the fact these people expected to get away with fraud.

The major TEA party communication lines warned of fake members on ballots and to go forth with only supported canidates in the Republican primaries and final elections while ignoring the bloat of, “TEA” members on the ballot. These Democrats are playing around with a giant that’s very slowly awakening and breaking the laws will not lull the thing back to sleep.

“It’s not illegal to be a non-serious candidate. That’s not what’s being alleged here.”

How many new terms have the democrats created. FA should start a dictionary of these terms so we can look them up and find out what they mean.

It’s only the tip of the ICEBERG, and It’s melting more of it.

Ever notice how this election fraud is always perpetrated by Democrats, but never by Conservatives?

Great job unpacking all this criminal election nonsense! Linked.

“”Someone who runs having no intention of serving?””” Duh? Who DOES THAT remind me of???

How many guesses do we get?

@Dave Brickner: Yep, Dave, you are so right- Obama ran and won (thanks to the stupidity, racism and greed of millions of voters in America- wouldn’t care to call them Americans for the most part), but he has no intention of serving the people. He’d much rather be served by union bosses and left-wing toadies, while pretending to care about the little man. Obama & Madoff: birds of a feather.
