Corruption In The Age Of Obama:The Loss Of Professionalism

Loading

While teachers wail about their efforts being strictly for the welfare of the children, their veneer of professionalism wears thinner and thinner. There can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that the teachers don’t want to give up their sense of entitlement and their position of minor Elitists within Obama’s Socialism. No! they have no intention of sharing the burden of financial responsibility, that is for the non-unionists: they are the ones who chose not to join the trade union movement; they are the ones who refuse to get on Obama’s Gravy Train that runs on other people’s money; let them eat cake or listen to Michelle rant about diet or listen to Teleprompter Reader himself tell us to forgo vacations as he sends his family to Vail to for a skiing vacation. America should face up to facts, if you forget about going on that vacation you might not need to worry about losing your home. Well thanks for the financial advice Mr President, but just about everyone who isn’t a public service union employee is well aware that they will not be vacationing in Vail this winter. If you applied some of that important financial advice to the federal government, we might not be in this recession, now known as the Obama recession. You know the one that has light at the end of the tunnel: the light that only you and your sycophantic ‘Yes’ men you have surrounded yourself with can see.

Now the professionalism of teachers who drag their political beliefs into the classroom are destroying what remains of their professionalism by walking off the job and calling in with erroneous sick calls. Yes this might work in Chicago with sanitation workers, but our president becomes less presidential and involves himself in state politics and encourages illegal activities, he lower the prestige of the office and creates a massive conflict of interest that lays bare the corruption that is endemic within this administration.

Now to add to the loss of professionalism and the lowering of standards, we have medical doctors passing out sick passes to truant teachers making a mockery of the system to the same students to whom the teachers are supposed to serve as an example. Yes we are bringing our state and federal governments down to the levels of the Chicago Machine and its primordial swamp of corruption.

From Dr Lou Sanner, MD, one of the doctors who has passed out hundreds of Doctor’s notes that cover employees absences with phony ailments that he maintains are signs of stress, was quoted by the Associated Press:

“What employers have a right to know is if the patient was assessed by a duly licensed physician about time off of work,” Sanner said. “Employers don’t have a right to know the nature of that conversation or the nature of that illness. So it’s as valid as every other work note that I’ve written for the last 30 years.”

Besides committing fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud these doctors are placing their licenses in jeopardy. They are in direct violation of the laws that require them to record their medical records and confidentiality laws. Hopefully Governor Walker will take necessary measures to revoke the licenses of physicians who place politics ahead of professional standards.

Unfortunately, President Obama has unofficially sanctioned and encouraged this unlawful behavior with his endorsement of illegal union behavior and by having his organization Organizing For America bus in 60 thousand union thugs. These measures of financial responsibility will be repeated in more states in the coming weeks and it is a consequence of such measures that Obama’s system of Nepotism will be weakened and possibly destroyed as states struggle against bankruptcy. With the weakening of public sector unions and their strangle hold on the nation’s financial health. He has often exhibited inappropriate behavior for a president in time of stress and it is likely that these outbursts that reflect his inexperience and inability to perform the duties of the office will become more obvious now that he realizes that his fiefdom and his defacto civilian army corps is being dismantled.

First lady Michelle Obama told “Regis & Kelly” she was expecting jewelry on Valentine’s Day. She said it wouldn’t be anything extravagant because Barack tends to be responsible when he’s spending his own money. – Jay Leno

LOL!
Funny because it is more true than false.

I read that Michelle can’t wait to get back to India or Pakistan because she ran out of money while in a museum gift shop.
LOL, hasn’t she ever been to a place like that before?
Pricey, and they play on your belief it partly goes to a good cause.

And that’s nothing compared to what WE will pay for her breaks from the hard work of pretending to care about Americans.

It would seem that any prosecutor in a county where at teacher presented one of these robo excuses could charge the teacher and the doctor with fraud since the teacher would be entitled to sick pay. One wonders how these doctors would react if they found themselves facing 120 counts of fraud spread over 72 jurisdictions.

88 Teachers Fired in a Rhode Island District. Central Falls, RI.

The story focuses on Central Falls school in Rhode Island, an educational institute in such a sorry state of affairs that their drop-out rates were staggering and many students didn’t even log enough classroom time to receive a grade. Last year, in an apparent sign of throwing up their hands in despair, the school board took the drastic measure of firing all 88 of Central Falls’ teachers.

CNN: So in this town where the average income is $22,000 the average teacher is now making $76,000. What are the community members paying for?

James Parisi: The highest paid teachers are making about $76,000, which frankly I don’t think is enough for the committed professionals that are in that school district.

CNN: You had a 93% fail rate. That’s undeniable.

JP: And you think that’s caused by teacher’s actions?

CNN: Absolutely.

JP: I don’t think the teachers are responsible. (??????????????????????????)
******************************************************************
We should note that the teachers didn’t just walk away with more cash without making some concessions. They had to agree to a number changes including making each class a few minutes longer and being forced to eat lunch with the students.

And how did that work out? Not so well, apparently, as 93% of the students are still failing to meet minimum standards in math and reading, with large numbers once again not even receiving a grade of any sort.

Yeah. More Money and acceptance of Lower Standards = Professionalism!

Listening to the liberals defends the level of teachers benefits and salary compared to the private sector was interesting. You know all those disparity of wealth arguments liberals have been making for years just seemed not to exist anymore when it comes to their favored groups. So here we have a group of “public servants” making way more than most of the parents of the kids they teach and they get all huffy about the State of Wisconsin needing to trim back their compensation package. This while millions in the private sector either take a pay cut or lose their job.

The true arrogance of the unions and liberals is on display when they demand not one ounce of shared sacrifice but those who actually pay their salaries via taxes are expected to not only keep paying the same amount while making less but in fact those left working are expected to anti up MORE so the “public servants” can go about their lives with no effect at all. Talk about your divorced from reality issue.

I find it interesting only now does the union want to “offer” concessions after they see they don’t have public support for maintaining a compensation package that is overly generous compared to the private sector AND more importantly see their power threatened via decertification or loss of bargaining rights over benefits (not salary). This is just a replay of GM and Chrysler where the unions refused to cut one dime of their compensation package to tank the company. Apparently, the teacher’s union think they can get the same Federal taxpayer bailout as GM and Chrysler’s unions did.

The Private Sector makes a Product that is Marketed and the Value of that Product must be Competitive at Point of Purchase.

The Education System requires 12 to 13 Years of Investment over that time and the Value of That Product is an uncertainty until the Student enters the Workforce. The Marketing motto is “It’s for the Children”.

So You do the Math.

I was wondering why this Dr. Sanner was handing out phoney sick chits and sure enough, with a little digging, this doc is a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. This explains his huge lefty bias during one of his interviews. You give this guy a university lectern and he becomes a Karl Marx.
In my job, if I hand in erroneous,or embellished reports, I’m fired. As a pro you deal in facts.

I see on Curt’s doc post, he dug up another Marxist MD. When President Reagan took that bullet, he was hoping that all the surgeons were Republican. Did you guys see Andrew Breitbart get a sick chit from a female doctor? It is now a real mockery of the sick note system.

Skook,

I was just thinking about Loss of Professionalism. As you and I come from among other places, the backstretch, could you even begin to imagine what it would have been like without the Professionalism and work ethic that was shown by horsemen? I’m not talking about the trainers and owners. I’m talking about the grooms, blacksmiths, etc. As you know, grooms have always been greatly underpaid and unappreciated. Yet, they trudge in every day, conditions be damned, their pride for their work and love of their job unabated. Of course, I don’t have to say anything to you about blacksmiths (LOL!). Backbreaking work, long hours, on call most of the time. Yet every smith I ever knew would be there at a moments notice if needed. I for one cannot imagine (again, this is back in our time) any of us even remotely thinking of doing anything as assinine as what is going on in the workforce today!

It’s really sad. My old man always used to tell me the horses can’t shovel the crap out of their stalls themselves. Get your ass to work. I learned from him, If you accept the paycheck, you do the work to 100% of your capability. If you felt underpaid, you talked to your employer about it. In the racetrack world I was on, it didn’t take much of a brain to realize when things were good or bad and we were always taken care of when things were good.

We were discounted in many ways, but we were and are Professionals! I know it’s hard for the non-racetrack world to understand, but we here in the U.S. could all learn a lesson or two from the examples you and I grew up under. I would hope that would be like the proverbial two by four up the side of the heads of these morons that are more concerned about themselves than anything else.

OP says:

“…..Obama has unofficially sanctioned and encouraged this unlawful behavior with his endorsement of illegal union behavior and by having his organization Organizing For America bus in 60 thousand union thugs.
….”

Obama promised this.

Obama: I will ‘paint the nation purple with SEIU’
Obama Leads SEIU Chant After Vowing to Paint the Nation Purple

Not one dime of all of the so-called stimulus cash is allowed to go to anyone who is not paid ”prevailing (union) wages.”
Obama applied the (up until then) little-applied Davis Bacon Act to every penny of federal tax dollars spent in America.

Nan G, I sent that Breitbart YouTube video to Curt about an hour earlier than your comment, and he’s got it up in the featured video space so everyone can view. It’s not such a revelation to most of us, mind you… but quite interesting to see his admission that he is “an organizer” by trade, and not a qualified POTUS. LOL

No Chicago/Hawaii/Kenyan is gonna play Tom Sawyer and paint my Fence any Color!
I saw a Blank Resume and an Empty Suit before the Election. He’s so good at
the Charade that He fooled some Folks. All Hat and No Cattle on this Guy.
