Congresswoman Giffords in Critical Condition After Shooting In Arizona – Shooter Identified

Loading

The shooter has been identified as Jared Loughner:

Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is in an intensive care unit following surgery for a gunshot wound in the head at close range, the University of Arizona hospital announced Saturday afternoon.

Spokesman Peter Rhee said Giffords is optimistic about the congresswoman’s recovery.

State Sen. Linda Lopez, a close friend of Giffords’, told Fox News that the three-term congresswoman was shot in the temple and the bullet exited through her forehead. Lopez said Giffords was responding to commands and she was confident that she will survive surgery but is not sure what Giffords’ long term prognosis is.

At least 19 people were shot at Giffords’ “Your Corner” event held outside a Safeway grocery store in Tucson, including three members of the Democratic congresswoman’s staff in Arizona. Five have died, including one of Giffords’ aides, and nine are in critical condition at the University of Arizona Medical Center.

My prayers are with all the families effected by this horrible tragedy.

Within minutes of the shooting the liberal nimrods came out in force on twitter and their favorite web haunts to proclaim the Tea Party and Sarah Palin guilty for supposedly pushing this nutcase into shooting the Democrat Congresswoman.

Senator Lopez:

Listening to FOX News, State Senator Linda Lopez told Sheppard Smith she heard the shooter served in the military in Afghanistan. Lopez also talked about the ‘horrible signs’ at Tea Party rallies during the last election.

Within minutes of the shooting:

14. Looking forward to learning his moniker at the cesspool…

… The “Free” Republic.

RimJob will be establishing a memorial contribution account in his name during the current FReepathon.

“Woo hoo!”

Twitter within minutes of the shooting:

@SarahPalinUSA will u be happy when everyone on Your target list is shot dead? Don’t u know there’s crazy people that take things literally?

@McCainBlogette I hope your Dad is happy with the hateful rhetoric he helped perpetuate now. Sarah P’s ‘target’ list is on his hands too.

@markos HAPPY NOW FUCKING TEA BAGGERS?SHE WAS ON PALIN’S “TARGET” LIST. HER BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS FOX, BECK AND PALIN!#foxnews #beck #palin

@StaffaRoadTrip She was on Palin’s “target list”. She’s got blood on her hands. Happy now, tea partiers?

Palin six people are dead at shooting of Congresswoman Giffords one of your targets. I hope you are happy.

And on CNN:

AZ Daily Star political cartoonist David Fitzsimmons on @CNN: “The right has been stoking the fires of heated anger and rage” in AZ.

And from our own comments our resident lefty nimrod John Ryan:

there are a lot of nuts out there. And it is real easy for them to get guns capable of killing many people. And it doesn’t take much talk using words like “traitor” or “destroying our country” to set them off. In any school in the USA if a child makes a list marked “hit list” he is going to be in big trouble. When a politician does he/she gets cheers. The Federal Judge that was killed had received many many death threats. And they were not coming from the left.

The Myspace page of the suspect, Jared Loughner, was taken down minutes ago but a screenshot of the pictures has been put up on twitter (not sure if it’s real yet):

He also apparently has a youtube channel with five video’s he made….after viewing them you understand the man is a NUT. He writes (much of it barely coherent) about mindcontrol, brainwashing, a “new currency”, “conscience dreaming”, and oddly enough government control of grammar structure. The youtube channel is here but it will be taken down soon so I downloaded the video’s:

He’s a nut, a Schizo. On his Youtube page check out what he likes!

The Communist Manifesto?

This is a tragedy and NOT the time to point fingers at one party or another, especially considering this guy doesn’t appear to affiliated with either but instead believed the government was controlling his mind.

Lopez claimed such signs “push some people over the edge.”
Stay classy dems.
My condolences to the families of the victims and prayers for those wounded.

Horrible. One of the dead is a child.

Regarding stupid recriminations: consider this screen capture of a diary at the left wing Daily Kos. The original has apparently been taken down for some reason.

My CongressWOMAN Voted against Nancy Pelosi! And is now DEAD to me!

Thanks to comment # 588 at Ace of Spades HQ post: http://minx.cc/?post=310404

My condolences to all of the families hurt today.
I was just watching Obama and then Jan Brewer.
The difference in emotional content was amazing.
Obama was colder and more clinical than a newsman or MD.
Jan was obviously sharing the pain with the families in her every word.
Thanks for doing so much so fast.

If You Tube drops his videos, are they ”mirrored” somewhere else?
Facebook dropped his page before I could get there.

Curt: I’m disappointed that you tried to score political points, in the process of otherwise commenting responsibly. I could show you lots of comments blaming the shooting on illegal immigrants and also left wing extremists, angry at Gifford’s “Blue Dog” positions on various issues. In fact, these were the first comments to appear, in the story which first popped up on Google news, which I read.

Why is it so necessary to focus on extreme nut jobs, in an attempt to tar everyone on one side or the other with the same brush?

@Nan. Emotionally, Obama is what he is. He’s not touchy-feely, like either Brewer or Bill Clinton. He’s better off just being true to himself, rather than trying to fake emotion which he doesn’t have. He’s got a lot of the same coolness which is a common trait in CEOs and military leaders, for that matter. It’s not a good thing and it’s not a bad thing. It’s just the way people are.

there are a lot of nuts out there. And it is real easy for them to get guns capable of killing many people. Larry, whatever pundits might have said about who-dun-it is irrelevant once we find out who actually did it.
I heard Shep Smith on Fox say absurd things about who-dun-it before we found out who really did it.
Your, ability to find “comments blaming the shooting on illegal immigrants and also left wing extremists, angry at Gifford’s “Blue Dog” positions on various issues,” were WRONG!
Just as Rep Gifford’s DAD was wrong when he originally blamed all of the Tea Party as her ”enemy.”
Look at the videos.
Look at his web pages.
Jerod is a NUT.

C’mon, John.

A nut is a nut. This guy was a total nut.

His favorite books include Mein Kampf, The Communist Manifesto, Ayn Rand’s We the Living, Orwell’s Animal Farm, Plato’s The Republic, Siddartha, Aesop’s fables, The Wizard of Oz.

Is he Right Wing or is he Left Wing?

He’s just a wingnut.

@Nan. I was simply saying that, before any information at all came out about who the shooter might be, I read comments from the Left, blaming Sarah Palin, and I read comments on the Right, blaming illegal immigrants and far left wingers. I totally agree that it’s irresponsible to blame anyone for anything until the facts come out. As the facts come out, this is looking to be a pure nut, without a political ideology.

P.S. Here’s the first news story I read about it. Read the first 20 or so comments, and you’ll see what I mean:

The way people react the tragedy is very revealing. A woman is shot in the back of the head and Curt’s reaction is to spend the next three hours trolling the internet for links proving how bad liberals are. He’s clearly upset that someone pulled the trigger… on Twitter! Just beautiful. Now, back to the real world.

Here’s something from someone proporting to have been one of Jared’s old friends:

A woman named Caitie Parker has been tweeting that she went to school with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ alleged shooter Jared Loughner and that he had met Giffords previously.

Also,” he was a pot head & into rock like Hendrix,The Doors, Anti-Flag. I haven’t seen him in person since ’07 in a sign language class” and “As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy.”

“He had a lot of friends until he got alcohol poisoning in ’06, & dropped out of school.
Mainly loner very philosophical.”

Prayers out to all who were shot.

Shame on Sen. Lopez for trying to make political hay out of this tragedy.

Ivan, you might want to add that drive by one liner johnny ryan doesn’t pass the smell test for political hay either. Apparently, he even wants to drag the RKBA issue into it as well.

Condolences to those who lost family members. May the Congresswoman recover quickly, and completely. May the shooter hang from the nearest tree, and may johnny ryan forever rot in his own lib/prog cesspool of hate.

last Oct 14 Curt you linked to an article in Town Hall that used the words “Open Season” on Giffords. And yes of course he is a nut. I mean not legally INSANE but a nut. When words like TRAITOR are bandied about, when people think that they should seriously consider OVERTHROWING the government, well what do you expect an armed nut to do? Act rationally? When people who are pro choice are accused of being “baby killers” or when Sarah Palin puts her crosshairs on Giffords, you know a nut case just might take those words at face value. And believe that their horrible actions may receive applause from some quarters.

@johnryan

People have been using fighting words and fomenting political hatred for as long as the nation has existed and will be doing so for as long as there is a First Amendment. Fighting words come from all points on the political compass.

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0308/Why-Americans-are-so-angry

Perused the Daily Kooks, Dummies Underground, Huff and Puff, Media Mutters. The moderators can’t delete the garbage and hate fast enough. On Twitter, one of his school friends, posted that the gunman hated Bush. His bio has plenty of left wing garbage that he read and enjoyed. Looks like a deranged kook, much like the professor from Huntsville, Alabama or the kamekaze pilot from Austin. MSNBC has gone strangely quiet, quite mysteriously.

Andrew Sullivan notes the a certain former half-term governor is scrubbing her website of all the incendiary postings she had put up. When you put people in cross-hairs, attempt to demonize them as engaged in a war against the country, or cast them as whatever kind of historic malefactors we can recall (like Hitler, etc.), you invite demented minds to “go there.”

Do I blame the teabaggers and Palin for this guy pulling a gun and shooting a duly elected public official at point blank range, killing federal judge, murdering a nine year old girl, and taking four other lives? Not exactly. But you are responsible for the heat caused by your own rhetoric. Just as an arsonist needs gasoline and a match, the teabagger rhetoric AND THE BRINGING GUNS TO POLITICAL EVENTS has met its all too predictable outcome. In short, the angry teabagger rhetoric lit up an obviously disturbed man — just like the gun nut in Pittsburgh who murdered four police officers because he believed “Obama was coming for his guns,” just like the murdered George Tiller (who was also put in cross-hairs), just like the nut in Cali who wanted to take down the “evil” Tides Foundation and George Soros . . . because he was informed they should be feared. We knew that, eventually, someone would get hurt with all the apocalyptic anger coming from the right. Let’s hope it ends with this horror in Arizona.

Speaking of half cocked redux, here’s Tom’s separated at birth twin, Billy Bob.

First of all, Andrew Sullivan? You quote Andrew Sullivan as the epitome of clean political dialogue and love the one you’re with type rhetoric??

Secondly, are you suggesting that a Communist Manifesto fan is a Palin devotee?

Desperate as usual, I see, Billy Bob.

Ivan, you might want to add that drive by one liner johnny ryan doesn’t pass teh smell test for political hay either. Apparently, he even wants to drag the RKBA issue into it as well.

Not sure I get you here Mata.

The only issue here is that the shooter was a loon. A friggen lunatic.

What bothers me is that the left is JUMPING ON THE GRAVES OF THE DEAD to smear the Tea Party.

This disgusts me.

Hooray!
Love seeing the little boxes that make linking and quoting easy!

Thank you very much!

So larry and the other leftists, why aren’t you condemning those on your side of the aisle for using this to bash the Tea Party? Simple, because you are hypocrites. Another case of the left defending their own no matter what they do. You leftists really are POS.

Yes it is sad that a member of congress has been seriously injured and it is sad that some would use this a a domino in the political arena. We are all upset that such actions happen . . . does it come unexpected? Strange that we all know that we are truly in a political/sociological war status, whether we like it or not. Is it Obama’s fault . . . no of course not . . . at least not directly. Would we be seeing the same rhetoric if the congress person was of the other party, a republican verses democrat? That is a clear answer . . . the spin is spun to fit the scenario of events. So is there anything that we as the citizens of this country can do? Of course there is . . . that is to accept that a nut case did a deplorable act. Avoid using this a playing card to incriminate any group or demographic and realize that there are nut cases in the world. To begin with there is a definite need for the congressional branch of the US to realize that exposing themselves to dangerous situation is about as smart as taking a cat to a dog fight.

BTW Larry, went to your link and there weren’t any comments showing. You’ll need another source to make excuses for your fellow leftists.

Anyone who started to blame one side or the other before we had the facts should be ashamed of themselves. The guy was a nut and not “pushed” by the Tea Party to do anything.

There’s a live interview on now in which the man (an AZ Sheriff Clarence Dupnik) doing Q&A basically told us all that all free speech MUST be curtailed so that unhinged individuals (like the shooter by this man’s own admission) not be enraged by opinions of people.
SHEESH!
This is the ultimate in political correctness!
Now ”offending” a hypothetical super-sensitive person is the rule for what used to be free speech.

Tweeted thoughts from someone who knew the shooter personally:

He listed Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto as two of his favorite books.

Combine his self-professed literary preferences with the direct statements of his acquaintances and a picture comes into focus.

An rather inconvenient picture for those who rushed to throw stones of blame.

Anyone who started to blame one side or the other before we had the facts should be ashamed of themselves. The guy was a nut and not “pushed” by the Tea Party to do anything.

Hypocrite alert.
So can we assume you’re equally disgusted with Nan for posting unverified rumors that the gunman is “left wing, quite liberal”?

Also,” he was a pot head & into rock like Hendrix,The Doors, Anti-Flag. I haven’t seen him in person since ’07 in a sign language class” and “As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy.”

My opinion: leave her alone. It’s obviously very important to her that she prove liberals are responsible for this. She’s on the case, just like with the birth certificate.

Speaking of running off cocked… Tom, why are you attributing a Tweet that Aye posted in his comment to Nan? Then you have the gall to say we’re the ones using this event “…to rant about liberals”? Chutzpah, dude. Really. Checked a mirror today? You’re embarrassing yourself.

Ivan, the point about johnny one-liner ryan is that he, like Tom, is making political hay on this. Tom just wants to play political and moral superiority partisanship, while johnny one liner must really have a thing for for gun control because it make it’s rare appearance twice. I’m sure it’s probably above johnny boy’s comprehension level that if everyone in that crowd were armed, that scumbag kid would think twice about attempting a shooting spree.

Sidebar: Frankly, I’m wondering how the kid managed to get off so many rounds without any of the local police being able to respond quicker. Was the shooter hiding in the crowd?

Rather unlikely there’s any viable legal defense with so many witnesses. Truly a “smoking gun”, open and shut case. However it will be an ACLU argument that he’s a victim of society or his parents, no doubt. Naturally it will follow the predictable and expensive path for temporary insanity. Seems a shame to have to waste taxpayers’ cash. The whack job should just confess and plea bargain for something less than death.

Nan, Glad I’m not watching TV as I might throw something at it. When Lopez accused the Tea Party of inciting the scumbag before anything was even known, I cursed out loud. Yet the left want to pretend they aren’t full of hate. What a crock.

Hey tom, not once have you condemned ANYONE on the left. In fact you rushed to defend them. I see the hypocrite charge found it’s mark and hurt.
Btw you halfwit, Nan didn’t say he was a liberal. She also posted it was allegedly from someone that knew him years ago. This is unlike what your bretheren did.

Thanks, Hard Right.
The spokesman for the Sheriffs seems to be pretty hate-filled.

Apparently the shooter is NOT cooperating with police/investigators.
That’s his right.

If he were to try to represent himself the trial might remind some of that mass murderer from 1993, Colin Ferguson.
Colin was convicted of murdering six people and injuring nineteen others.
His two lawyers attempted to blame his actions on a temporary insanity because of ”black rage.”
But he fired them and stood trial.
I think I was home for health reasons during much of the trial, because I watched a good deal of it on the now-defunct Court-TV.

Nan, Tucson is a college town and as a result very liberal. IIRC it’s a sanctuary city for illegals. It’s no surprise the sheriff reflects the views of the people he protects and was elected by.
I’m wondering if he will be found unfit to stand trial. I hope not.
My almost Communist brother was livid when he heard the news and accused the “right wingers.” Knowing him and his type they will likely continue with the “right winger” angle.

Oh and Tom, look when Nan posted that blurb. It was well after we knew who he was and his views had come out. Again, this is unlike leftist douches that immediately accused Tea Party types as soon as news of the shooting broke. So Tom, were your leftist cohorts wrong to do so? Maybe now that I’m slapping you in the face with the question you’ll answer it and stop avoiding it.

Now Fonda says the following are to blame:

A. Palin
B. Glenn Beck
C. The Tea Party.

Have these liberals no shame????

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2011/01/08/jane-fonda-blames-giffords-shooting-sarah-palin-glenn-beck-and-tea-pa

Knowing nothing about the shooter at this point, I’m not ready to assume he was too crazy to know what he was doing based on his web postings. His disjointed thinking somehow seems a little too demonstrative of “crazy”. Also, something bothers me about the way he slipped into past tense when he listed his Interests and favorite Books on his YouTube profile. It’s as though he was writing it while thinking about how it would be viewed later.

It’s possible this was done in a deliberate fashion with an insanity defense in mind. The guy could be the pathetic nutcase that he appears to be, or he might be a calculating, cold-blooded psychopath whose premeditation was very detailed.

Hey tom, not once have you condemned ANYONE on the left. In fact you rushed to defend them. I see the hypocrite charge found it’s mark and hurt.

You seem to have missed the point. I haven’t defended – or, more importantly – blamed anyone. Do you think the congresswoman’s husband is worried about whether the gunman was a liberal or a conservative, right now, while she’s clinging to life? Outside your bunker, there are people out there who are mainly concerned with the welfare of the victims and possibly just trying to make sense of a senseless act. There are things in this world that are beyond our understanding, don’t you agree?

Truthfully, I only dropped by here because I knew people like you would use this event, like you use every event, to rant about liberals, but I had to see it for myself. Call it character flaw, call it self-flagellation. I find it fascinating how certain individuals go through life and see everything in simple dichotomous terms. Do you see trees and have to decide if they’re liberal or conservative? You’ve worked up quite a righteous froth. You’re so angry some liberal idiot (probably you’re bizzaro-world analogue) tweeted about the Tea Party, but you literally can’t see the same thing, from your side, even when it’s right before your eyes. You’re brain just can’t process it. You go straight into excuse mode, or conspiracy mode. You have to be ‘right’ 100% of the time or your identify would likely disintegrate. Thankfully, those of us with self-admitted flaws don’t have to shoulder such a terrible burden. Best of luck to you, my friend.

Greg, that’s an interesting idea.
But Jared was acting crazy long before this.
After an arrest for drugs in 2007 but he got charges dismissed by going into a rehab-type program.
After a bout of drinking he was treated for ”alcohol poisoning,” and his outgoing personality died.
While in a remedial math class at a community college he made weird verbal outbursts.
He was thrown out of that class many times before simply being barred from it completely.
Then last month he said:
“I don’t feel good: I’m ready to kill a police officer! I can say it.”

Hey Tom, who here accused the shooter of being liberal right off the bat? Also, were your fellow leftists wrong to attack the Tea Party and other Conservatives before anything was known? Answer the question jackass.

You haven’t defended anyone? Pulease. You immediately dismissed what your cohorts said and criticized Curt for pointing it out. As for your attempted psycho-analysis of me, I’d say you are quite guilty of projection. Again, that is typical of leftist hypocrites like yourself. You really need to think of yourselves as superior to others, especially those that disagree with you. Unable to cope with your obvious failings, you project them onto others like you’ve done with me. We also know the real reason you come here is to troll.
So how about answering the question: Were your fellow leftists wrong to attack the Tea Party and other Conservatives before anything was known about the shooter?

@ Nan G, #31:

I just read the article you linked. So much for my clever psychopath theory.

Again, that is typical of leftist hypocrites like yourself. You really need to think of yourselves as superior to others,

Wow, one of my favorite Republican talking points ever, come to life. I feel like I’m seeing a unicorn! Forgive me, but I really never believed I’d meet someone with this strange inferiority complex, so I have to ask, who broke the Liberal Wall of Silence and told you how we all look down on you, or did you creep up and witness it on your own? Was it during our exclusive Manhattan cocktail parties when we discuss the nexus between art and Marxism? Or during all those fabulous gay weddings we attend religiously? Or was it (gulp) one of our ‘pot parties’? (If you saw me, it was strictly medicinal.) Of course, for me, it’s always been tough, with that pesky Republican grandfather around, not to mention a good chunk of my friends being conservatives of one stripe or another. But once they leave the room, boy…. yeah, I am looking down on them BIG TIME.

So how about answering the question: Were your fellow leftists wrong to attack the Tea Party and other Conservatives before anything was known about the shooter?

I would have to look at it on a case by case basis. I’m not one to make sweeping generalities (yes, we exist). Frankly, I couldn’t possibly care less what some nobody ‘tweeted’ about. And people posting tweets on this site about the gunman from people who allege to know him as facts is quite troubling. but if people want to put their credibility on the line like that, more power to them. We will all see when the real facts come out.

Tom, while you may whine how conservatives accused the shooter of being on the left, there is one clear fact you seem to ignore; no one here has the nation’s ear like those on the left who are already point the finger at Sarah Palin, the TEA Party, Glenn Beck and anyone on the right. Or do you really think that the posters here are being paid attention to as much as Paul Krugman or Jane Fonda?

And do you remember how the left got their Hanes all in a wad when a radical Marxist left winger flew a plane into the IRS building in Austin, Texas? Hell, the left was calling for every TEA Party attendee to be strung up by their heels before it was revealed that Strong has left his Marxist manifesto on line. Or do you remember how the left disgraced themselves at Paul Wellstone’s funeral? Because I damn sure remember all those things. Look up “kneejerk” in any dictionary and you will find “leftwing”.

And of all the disgusting things said I have to rank Linda Lopez’s comments to Shepard Smith about how this was the fault of the TEA party and how the shooter was an “Afghani” war veteran. Linda LaRaza was wrong, but it didn’t stop Smith from reporting that or to bother checking the facts before he did. So in one statement, Linda LaRaza got in two hits; TEA Party and our military.

I get it now, Mata.

The problem is that there is a chasm that seperates liberals from conservatives in this nation.
For the left to attempt to slander the right-wing, the Tea Party in particular, only shows how pathetic and despetate they are.

The level of vitriol directed at the right from the left leads me to conclude that we’re heading for a redux of the 1860s.

Wait till you see what Krugman wrote in the NYT. You’ll lose your mind.

John Ryan, hi, you are absolutly right in saying the leader should be carefull not to excite
their followers by claiming the nnemies in this COUNTRY,therefor suggesting that other partys are ennemies of AMERICA, on many instances there was words said to incite violence in america and it was said from the PRESIDENT HIMSELF, like if they bring a gun bring a rocket ,the words that TOM pronounce here on his first coomment where the same as he was angry when he said it, so yes leader of a country as free as AMERICA is should know to restrain their anger not to project it to the citizen who dont agree with his spending policy,
too bad some tragic repercussion happen for it most of the time sooner or later
my sympathy goes to the innocent victims

openid.aol.com/runnswim I was again reading the quote from CURT saying” this is not the time to blame anyone’ that was his way of warning us to not do it, bye

YVAN right you are they have no shame to put the blame on someone else but themself,
as they are to blame for their actions to begin with,
name just one “the racist card” among others
bye

…And once again the “tagging” goes on. “The Liberal Left” we are called in an attempt to distract everyone from the fact that a politician who should be acting responsibly used unbelievably incendiary terminology and analogies to rouse people. And obviously she has! And by the way, how can anyone forget the political rally at which she almost literally called Obama a terrorist and traitor and the clear shout from a man in that audience yelling “kill him?” Cut me a break people. Palin’s published “cross-hair” list of people has begun to have horrific results. What did she think, that her terminology and incredibly poor choice of allusions would not have any effect? How irresponsible can you get?

Rhumbo, didn’t you leave? Or here to politically postulate on another thread?

Clue: Palin’s got nothing to do with the shooting, or the shooter. In fact, why don’t you point out any fan of the Communist Manifesto who is a Palin devotee. We’ll wait.

But oh, that’s right… you don’t have “conversations”. You type out lectures and diatribes, as you did on the LTC Allen West thread… then announce “the conversation” is over. LOL

I’m sure they still have soap boxes in Miami. Maybe you can borrow one and get your fascination with yourself out of your system… plus perhaps find someone who gives a flying black bean about your baseless political hatred for a segment of America.

Rumbagecko, again easy for you to point finger at SARAH PALIN,
that is a LEFT BAD HABIT, to demonyze her, don’t you know,
they are at it all the times, so easy to see, just pay attention,
and don’t copy that

Facts are starting to come out. The Daily Kooks are scrubbing their site, but its been mirrored and the postings are going viral. This 22 year old kook is not a teapartier or a nine twelver.

Hanoi Jane, and the fat ones- special Ed and Herr Dolbermann have started their diatribes. With every hour, it looks like the leftards are going to own this one. MSNBC, the place for projection and hate.

Nan G , hi, again I’m trying to see the box that you see, where is it?

Saw that Bill Maher wants Glenn Beck targeted. Won’t improve your pathetic ratings. Wrong time slot you hating midget. Watch yourself Glenn.

@Braindead Rob #16: You said:

Do I blame the teabaggers…

So YOU aren’t using, let’s see, how did you put it? Oh yeah – angry rhetoric. Using that vulgar sexual slur when referring to the Tea Party Movement isn’t angry or hateful is it? You sir, are an ass.

@Rummygecko #43: You said:

Palin’s published “cross-hair” list of people has begun to have horrific results. What did she think, that her terminology and incredibly poor choice of allusions would not have any effect? How irresponsible can you get?

Really? You are blaming Palin for this? Really?

It looks like Braindead Rob has a twin.

This democrat on democrat violence has got to stop. Arizona is not Chicago.

Check Big Journalism. BLUEBOY was scrubbed from the Daily Kos. Tucson kid, with mental and physical rehab, pissed off at Giffords for abadoning his cherished Pelosi. BLUEBOY is probably Loughner. Tons to read. The material is pouring out. Markos Mulesass and his kook website should be hauled in front of a judge for libel and hate mongering.

Let’s face it. The Marxist Gay shooter had a grudge against Giffords. He worked her campaign twice and “made alot of money for her”. When he discovered she no longer matched his “key issues”, he got furious with her and went on a rant saying ‘she is dead’, 2 days before he shot her. Someone with ‘big feet’ ‘egged’ him on after seeing his post at KOS? Perhaps a set-up?
This doesn’t explain how the Republican Judge was a target too, except that he was against open borders and criminal illegals, the same as ‘blue dog’ Gifford. It smells. Lefties are famous for getting a ‘patsy’ to do their dirty work then getting rid of them.

Tom, thanks for proving that you are are dispicible hypocrite. You want to criticize us for pointing out the bigotry people like yourself are guilty of in an attempt to pretend it doesn’t exist. Your alleged “conservative” friends aren’t proof of anything and what you have posted here shows it.

Your so-called analysis of me might carry some weight if leftists like yourself had any personal insight. Liberals by their very nature are narcissists unable to face reality and you are a prime example. You excuse your fellow leftists while blaming the victims of their slander and hate for being offended. Yet you want to pretend liberals aren’t what we know them to be. Why? Because it’s all for your ego. You aren’t defending them so much as yourself. You really need to feel good about yourself and to admit you aren’t the “good guys” and “superior to others” as you leftists think you are would practically cause you to have a nervous breakdown. Psychiatrists have repeatedly pointed this out about people like you, so for you to claim that is how we are is pathetic and as I mentioned earlier, serious projection on your part. You see, you project onto us all the things about yourself that you can’t cope with. That’s just one of the ways you maintain your “feel good” fix. You are so very transparent to us, yet so opaque to yourself it’s just sad. That’s why more and more people are coming to see that leftists are mentally ill.

Other things come to mind, things that Bee’s pointed out. That our political demagagoue who uses “street language” as a shock tactics. Our government functions in an environment of “respect”. Every congress and senate person conducts themselves on the floor as highly refined, articulate people. Words are very carefully chosen to avoid raising the ire of others. Yet we have people, including Obummer himself that use words that alert us to just such events and set into motion their actions. Are these mere words or are they meme words? Words that to a small select few, perhaps like this nut case in Arizona, are a call to action? Do these words muttered so repulsively by our leaders in high office only bring forth a group to self-fulfilling prophecy? Again I point out that Obummer has created a massive gulf of hate between two relatively small extremist groups called the “Left and Right”. Such massive rift in perspectives existed in this country prior to and during the Civil War and was the precursor that probably was the greatest contributor to initiation of hostilities. Ultimately the Civil War was fought for an entirely different reason, that reason being ; “You are HERE!”. Did we see the “shot of seperation”? Will we see the demagagoue split the politics? I certainly hope not. But the meme words are doing their destruction and we will see in the next few days what happens. Most certainly we will see fewer “dog fights”, I hope. “Corner Meetings” and “Town Council” meetings will never be the same. We are seeing the doors of government slamming in our faces.
