The Dream Has Turned Into A Nightmare
In a move to call upon White America’s Guilt, President Obama made reference to the plight of American Slaves before their Emancipation during the Civil War. Obama proves once again that the presidential campaign rhetoric concerning moving beyond racism and bringing America together as a unified country was only teleprompter trash talk.
He now invokes images of slavery to try and recapture America’s Guilt and Pity for the poor half Black President who has lost the confidence of the American voter and is facing catastrophic Democrat losses in mid-term elections due to firing up the opposition with his quasi-Marxist Ideology and his apathetic base. In a reference to slaves singing of freedom around a campfire:
“You know, the slaves sitting around a fire singing freedom songs, they weren’t sure when slavery would end, but they understood it was going to end,” he said.
Although Obama has no hereditary connection with the slaves of ante-bellum Blacks, he is quick to identify with American Blacks when it is convenient. This time he was campaigning in Virginia, in the district of Eric Cantor, House Whip. He is obviously responding to criticism that he has not campaigned for Democrats who are facing a hostile public that is disappointed with Obama’s presidency.
In a move to reconnect with the Hip generation and all those who want to identify with the latest fads, Obama did an interview with the “Rolling Stone” magazine and revealed some of his trepidation at the mood of the country before the mid-terms.
Obama offered insight into his feelings on the Tea Party without addressing their issues, a move that will only strengthen the resolve of Tea Party members.
The Tea Party: “There are strains in the tea party that are troubled by what they saw as a series of instances in which the middle-class and working-class people have been abused or hurt by special interests in Washington, but their anger is misdirected. And then there are probably some aspects of the Tea Party that are a little darker, that have to do with anti-immigrant sentiment or are troubled by what I represent as the president. So I think it’s hard to characterize the Tea Party as a whole, and I think it’s still defining itself.”
He skillfully implies that the Tea Party is mad at special interests in Washington; actually, they are enraged at the politicians who cater to special interests in Washington; especially, with those who campaigned on bringing an end to the era of lobbyists and special interests, yet continue to cater to these groups.
He then slips the knife a little deeper and refers to a ‘darker side’ that is immersed in anti-immigrant sentiment and what he represents as president: it is implied that the Tea Party resents having a Black Man for president; however, most traditional Americans oppose Obama because of his imposition of Socialism upon America and his steadfast support of illegal aliens in the hope of stuffing ballot boxes with the Democrat votes of illiterate aliens. He quickly neutralizes the low down and dirty assault with a patronizing tone, admitting that the Tea Party is hard to define and that is still in the process of defining itself; therefore, we must give it time to evolve and find its true direction. No doubt, Obama has agents provocateur embedded in the Tea Party to try and confuse the message. He is crafty enough to realize that insulting the whole Tea party and not leaving it room to explain their position will alienate a huge demographic of the population that he cannot afford to lose.
Being a Narcissist and having criticism is a troubling issue. Obama is trying to deal with the only Conservative station on cable, not by objective reasoning and debate, but by claiming that Fox is counter productive to the long term growth of a country with a vibrant middle-class. It will require a very pliant outlook for even the most deluded ideologue or sycophant to swallow this off the wall logic, but Obama doesn’t want analytic people for followers, he needs the passive groupie who can eat dirt cake and swear it is delicious.
Fox News: “The golden age of an objective press was a pretty narrow span of time in our history. Before that, you had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view. It’s a point of view that I disagree with. It’s a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world.”
We are to assume, “The Golden Age of an Objective Press” was the era before Fox News took over news broadcasting; before that, all news was news only after passing through a Liberal filter. Fox has forever altered the propaganda medium of Socialism, the old news programs are no longer viable commercial entities, nor are they considered reliable sources of news. Obama and his propagandists despise Fox News, they equate the op-ed shows with news; unfortunately, they have lived for so long under the umbrella of propaganda they don’t realize the difference between news and opinion. Fox News is indeed objective, the foremost reason for its success: the op-ed shows are entertaining and educational, thus the formula for the success of Fox News is obvious, but far too difficult to comprehend for the typical Leftist.
Again with the skill of a back alley debater, he concedes that Fox may have a point of view; yes, for the time being, our country still allows freedom of speech and of the press.
In dealing with his Democrat legislature, Obama uses his condescending attitude to assert his arrogance and contempt over those underlings who are not following the party line by using a well worn mixed metaphor that has become a tired over used cliche.
The Democratic Party Mindset: “Some of it, also, has to do with — and I joke about it — that there’s a turn of mind among Democrats and progressives where a lot of times we see the glass as half-empty. It’s like, ‘Well, gosh, we’ve got this historic health care legislation that we’ve been trying to pass for 100 years, but it didn’t have every bell and whistle that we wanted right now, so let’s focus on what we didn’t get instead of what we got.”
He is careful not to admonish his Democrats too much, after all, many of them are facing defeat because of being an Obama lap dog and he may need the survivors in the near future to uphold his veto power for the next two years; none the less, they should not be focused on themselves, but realize the strides made by the party towards international Socialism and World Governance. His Democrats should be willing to sacrifice their political future to advance the cause of Socialism and the persona of the Obama; because, one of the main precepts of Socialism is denial of self for the “Good” of the Collective (excluding Elites like Obama, of course).
The firing of General McChrystal, was a hard political decision. Traditionally, a Commanding officer who stands up for his men and the mission, but refuses to compromise those two for the enhancement of a Leader’s Political future, must be fired.
The Firing of Gen. McChrystal: “”…it pained me to have to make the decision I did. Having said that, he showed bad judgment. When I put somebody in charge of the lives of 100,000 young men and women in a very hazardous situation, they’ve got to conduct themselves at the highest standards, and he didn’t meet those standards.”
With sanctimonious piety, Obama concedes feeling for the troops in the ME; due the previous sporadic entreaties of love for the troops by he and his wife, the country is immune to these insincere periodic belches and farts of phony patriotism.
The Bob Dylan concert didn’t receive the fanfare of previous concerts and if we read the president’s comments, the answer becomes obvious.
On Bob Dylan Playing the White House: “Here’s what I love about Dylan: He was exactly as you’d expect he would be. He wouldn’t come to the rehearsal; usually, all these guys are practicing before the set in the evening. He didn’t want to take a picture with me; usually all the talent is dying to take a picture with me and Michelle before the show, but he didn’t show up to that. He came in and played “The Times They Are A-Changin.” A beautiful rendition.
For a Narcissist to be ignored by a mere musician is like a hard uppercut to the solar plexus for the rest of us. The president was counting on that photo op and Dylan brushed him off; and now, we are led to believe that the president admires for that. Hmm!
I like to think that I have personal insight into the mind of this particular poet, Bob Dylan, for he is a far greater poet and cynic than musician. Since I possess the heart of a poet without the skills of Dylan and since Dylan is also a successful businessman with a superior intelligence, it is not a stretch of the imagination to think that Dylan can see through the hypocrisy and lies of Obama. Dylan played his contempt of Obama with greater political skills than Obama can dream about, for on the night of the Dylan concert, he may have played “The Times, They Are A Changin” but for a few hours, “A White Man Walked a Black Dog”.
A professional horseman for over 50 years, Skook continues to work with horses. Skook has finished an historical novel, Fifty Thousand Years, that traces a mitochondrial line of DNA from 50,000 years ago to the present. The story follows a line of courageous women, from the Ice Ages to the present, as they meet the challenges of survival with grit and creativity. These are not women who whimper of being victims, they meet the challenges of survival as women who use their abilities without excuses or remorse, these women are winners, they are our ancestors.
Fifty Thousand Years is available in paperback and e-book, it is getting great reviews. You can purchase a copy here; Visit me on Facebook.

Just when does Obama intend to discuss his hereditary connection with the Mau Mau in his family? Inquiring minds want to know.
Did Anyone expect anything less than this? 😉
Rally the “Troops” and his support base, what is left of it…
Talk about slavery and grasping at straws…
So much on desperation…
Sounds like Bob gave Obama the bum’s rush.
I’ve had closer interactions with him over the years.
I first saw Bob Dylan in the round at an arena long gone from Southern CA.
My older brother drove because I only had a learners’ permit and he didn’t want me driving his car.
It was Bob’s first CA tour after his first album came out.
We met him during a break, brother Eddie insisting we try.
Later I met him again after his motorcycle accident.
He and my oldest brother (not Eddie) were seeing the same MD.
Still later he nodded to me that he recognized me during a break at a concert in Hollywood, CA.
My husband met him that night.
He told my husband he knew I was a longtime fan.
Very brief all three times.
But more than he gave Obama….LOL!
Nan, that was like swinging the blunt edge of an ax right to the jaw. 😉
Lights Out!
Listening to Obama’s hate speech I am inclined to believe he is purposefully trying to incite a race war. Twenty years of Rev. Wright’s rantings have had a major impact on his perception of the American people.
I doubt our president knew about the Civil War between the 57 States. How would a Kenyan know.
Well, Mr. doesn’t look like those guys on the dollar bill”s with the typical white grandmother has played the race card like a fine turned violin for quite some time. He also plays African Americans by using the black dialect while speaking to their groups. Even the hapless Harry Reid picked up on that… probably trying to figure out how he could also get away with it, wouldn’t put it past him trying.
You didn’t by chance have anyone specific in mind when you wrote this, did you? 😉
One thing I’ve never understood. Why doesn’t a one trick pony get better and better at his one trick. . . instead of worse and worse?
he is trying to incite a civil war in the USA, that way he can declare marshal law and he gets to be king of everything along with the democratic congress.
do not be fooled by this man and his merry men, democrats,. vote them out in nov.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS SILLINESS. WE SHOULD BE SEEKING NEW PLANETS, DEVELOPING REALISTIC ARMS, LEGS, ETC., FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE LOSING THEIR LIMBS. DEVELOPING WAYS TO HEAR WHEN WE LOSE OUR HEARING, I COULD GO ON AND ON., BUT NO–WE HAVE A PRESIDENT THAT IS AT WAR WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND HE IS SUPPRESSING OUR GREAT USA EXPERIENCE OF GREATNESS. I SAY CAST THIS EVIL OUT AND ALL HIS ILK AND LETS GET BACK TO CREATING NEW IDEAS AND GO FORWARD INTO THE FUTURE WITH OUR WONDERFULNESS. THE USA CAN CREATE AND INNOVATE LIKE NO OTHER NATION ON EARTH.
I SAY LETS GET BACK TO THE FUTURE AND GET RID OF THIS HORRIBLE, BACKWARD , ADMINISTRATION. BE AT THE POLLS IN NOV AND VOTE OUT ALL THESE DEMOCRATS!
As someone who has received accusatory finger pointing because of features that belie a white hide and auburn hair, I know how painful racial discrimination is; although, no one has dared use any of the epitaphs or insults on me in 30 years or so, because of an intimidating stature and air of confidence, I have watched the harmful effects of racial discrimination directed toward my youngest son, who is in his mid-twenties, who unfortunately is a carbon copy of his dad.
In Calgary, he has endured insults from three different races; sadly, he was raised in a much more protected environment than me and the pain was more intense. He survived, but just barely. In time he will acquire the presence and physical stature to intimidate others with a glance.
Sadly in a bizarre way, my girl friend is of mixed blood, but she is beautiful, so she doesn’t hear racial slurs: no one has ever accused me of being beautiful, so people like me and my son are treated differently. When I walk through a grocery store parking lot, women jump in their cars and lock their car doors while their groceries still sit in the cart. I am wondering what did I do to deserve this. The funny thing is, if there is real trouble, I am the guy they most would want to be nearby. There is a pervert in Washington State who could explain that in more full detail, let’s say he was walking up to women and girls who were leaving the rest stop bathroom and whispering sweet and obscene comments in their ears. A young woman came to me in tears and told me she was afraid for her younger sister still in the bathroom. I watched him in action and then pounded him into the ground. It may sound harmless enough, but the beating he endured released a lot of pent up emotion for me.
This is a strange way to live, but I am glad I have been given the means to withstand the verbal abuse; otherwise, weak people like Shabazz would gladly exploit any opening that was available.
Allowing people like Shabazz to roam the streets of America to promote racial hatred doesn’t mean we have reached a point of racial triumph: no indeed, as Holder proclaimed, we have reached a point of cowardice, where we are afraid or ashamed to confront real racism and call it for what it is, racial hatred: a hatred that is being protected and groomed by the Obama administration.
I personally despise racial discrimination and hatred; I will always step in to voice my opinion whenever necessary. I might get nervous about a Grizzly finding me encased in a frozen moose carcase, (read: Obama’s Frozen Moose Carcase) but I’ll be damned if I will be afraid of race, like Holder accused me of being.
Geez, Skookum, two posts in a row about race.
Has Mata whacked you on the head yet?
@Skookum:
Nothing like that would matter to us, and, we are all fortunate to know you by heart, 😉
My daughter has a gentle heart, when she was about 7 she had a friend that was severely picked on in school, Amy felt really bad about that. She invited her over on a Saturday morning, I was on the phone with my grandmother when the door burst open and in rushed Ellen. She had thick auburn hair, dark freckles, bright red lipstick on and a heavy dose of perfume. Our dog rushed up to her and started sneezing.
Then because the girls took the screen out of their bedroom window our cat was able to get outside, snag a half grown rabbit and drug it into the house. That sure caught that Brittany Spaniels attention, he rushed the cat, it dropped the live rabbit in the dining room and got in a spat with the dog and all 4 kids were screaming. I was stunned, standing there with the phone still up to my ear, so much going on, then I heard my grandmother saying, “what’s going on, what’s going on, told her I’d call back. Thankfully the cat re caught the rabbit, I picked him up with the rabbit in his mouth and threw the cat with the rabbit out the door that Ellen forgot or didn’t have time to shut.
After that, the kids had a good day and I did remember to return my grandmother’s call. Ellen’s first visit started out with a big bang, after all that amazing she wanted to stay.
We lost track of her after moving and later heard her brother committed suicide, I don’t think he made it to 16, he was also treated badly in that neighborhood and school. There were a bunch of kids in the family and the parents were kind of mean. She was the only girl, baby of the family and her parents were more loving toward her. I think it was to hard for her brother to deal with the harsh parents as well as the cruel kids, shamefully, adult neighbors as well. If only he could have had strong people in his life like you and those whose influence you grew up with. There are tough guys and then there are bullies, that area was full of cruel bullies.
Miss, I love your stories of wild life and domestic critters.
I have two kittens that have moved in on me. One of them stays out all night and kills things, a four legged ecological disaster. The other one is smaller and has six claws on each front paw and five on each hind paw. They have mastered my technique with horses and stand their ground until the last second with my pit bull and my Catahoula. Thus they have earned the respect of my dogs who will kill a coyote in a minute or two and are formidable animals; under the circumstances, it is a very unique situation. The one with all the claws loves to lay down against the computer while I work and it follows me all over the house like a dog; occasionally, it will go far a walk on the keyboard and make my computer do some truly novel tricks. She is thoughtful enough to often leave a mangled lizard or a dead mouse next to the computer, in case I need a snack.
Consequently, my current animal stories have become tame like yours, but they retain some wild and woolly none the less. The best wishes, Skook.
I love cats but over the years I’ve become very allergic to them, hives, eyes swell shut, ugh! I still have the feral cats that live under the sun porch that I feed everyday. Just can’t touch them, they won’t let me anyway.
Enjoy them, kittens are fun!
I look at pets on Craigs List everyday, probably just to get angry and depressed, but I saw the other day that there is a name for the cats with six toes, just can’t remember what they called it.
southernsue: hi, very good and well said, I never miss your smart comments, and the GIANT is marching toward FREEDOM and RECOVERY.
bye.
Racism is a two way street. I am definitely a white guy who looks Anglo-Saxon and have been mistreated by racists myself. And, I have come to realize that I have had some breaks that were afforded to me because of my race.
In school I had the crap beat out me a few times until I learned that it was not proper for a white boy to walk out of a particular gym door. During my early years of work, I could not understand why some of the black workers did not want to associate with me or even treated me very coldly.
I know that what I had to put up with was nothing like some of the blacks endured in the past, I grew up in the deep south, I witnessed the burning crosses and such. I thought we were moving past the racial agitation, but there are just too many people who can still make a living as race baiters.
It is amazing how many of these race baiters carry the title of Reverend and claim to be Christian. America has excused these race baiters in the name of harmony and allowed them to continue to spew their vile accusations. Another thing that amazes me is the race baiters never decry racism against whites. Just look at what the DOJ did with the NBP and the voting intimidation; not one word from the good reverends.
Now we have a race baiter as president and things are very wrong in this country. We need to make sure that every instance of his race baiting is thrown in his face in 2012.
SKOOKUM: hi! YES, you project the IMAGE of being a protector of the OPPRESS;
even if people never seen you;
HOW’S your book going now?, you must be close to finish it now;
don’t forget my order of 6. bye
TO add some story here, I was bullied at young age of 7, and when I told the leader of that summer camp, I was very surprise to see no reaction and no punishment to that that boy,
so one of other days, I happen to eat around his place at the big table with all the children of different ages; and the boy look at me and came closer, and i throw my full dinner and plate
at his face. that did it, he never came close to me after.
MISSY: hi, COULD IT BE 6toes?, woops, I could not resist it,
And I know your sense of humor. bye
Ms Bees, sometimes bullies just need someone to stand up to them; unfortunately, you should be a good judge of character and situations, a few of these guys are beyond sick and perverted. Most are just cowards who are more like fear biters in the dog world or in the equine world, they are so scared they will run over you because of their all consuming fear. Yes most aggressive people and animals are only trying to mask or compensate for fear. I have known jockeys who took drugs to overcome their fear of getting hurt and it will work for a period of time, but eventually, the body gives into the assault and everything goes to Hell.
It is best not to live in a state of fear, for you only give in to the cowards like Shabazz who must swagger with a nightstick to assert their power and authority, but you must still exercise common sense and know your limitations, because like a fear biter the coward will often lash out in a cowardly attack.
This fool doesn’t realize how blessed he is living in America. He hasn’t deserved one damn thing he has been given in life. I could just barf listening to his self-centered BS.
>>MISSY: hi, COULD IT BE 6toes?>>
Heh…that’s what jumped into my mind immediately as well! But…we _are_ on the internet…so I prowled a bit and found this:
http://www.thecatgallery.com/polydactyl_cats.html
There were also a lot of references to Hemmingway’s cats as well…
suek: hi, thank you, I enjoyed looking at your link. I didn’t know it was so many on it, bye
Thanks Suek, that is an interesting page. My youngest kitten is a 6655 polydactyl and uses her ‘thumbs’ quite well.
My other cat stays out all night and appears to be a homicidal maniac: it’s a dangerous occupation because of the owls. Oh well, live by the sword, die by the sword.
SKOOKUM: hi, THE owls are undangered species AND my neighbord’s cat
come only here when the song birds arrive late spring, and kill many during the night;
I caught him many times, and try to tell her to keep him in her barn for this season,
she don’t care and let him out all night, they kill for their pleasure only.
I don’t like them myself. bye
Bees, it ain’t all that bad: he kills rats, mice, gophers, and lizards. My trees are huge and not the climbing type (date palms). The owls kill cats. It would take a cat like a mountain lion to bring down an owl. They are formidable animals, who know no fear, especially from house cats. 😆
SKOOKUM: hi, thank you, THAT will teach them to lay of smaller songbirds,
glad for the owls prowess. bye
I for one cannot WAIT until this nightmare is over, I would feel the same if Hussein looked like Brad Pitt. He is vile, evil,racist and up to no good.
@suek:
That’s the word! Thanks! Cats have always been just cats to me, but, most of the cats in my life have been just mixed breeds. Last year one of the strays that came my way turned out to be a Scottish Fold. I just thought his ears may have been frost bitten. I spent a fortune on ads trying to find him a home and the people that finally adopted him knew what he was. Had I known I probably wouldn’t have had him for four months missing the litter box on the sun porch.
My daughter and I spent a couple of days at Key West about 10 years ago, they still had 2nd, 3rd, 4th, cousins, whatever of the Hemmingway cats. So they said. 😉
I still have postcards I bought of the cats. 🙄
MISSY: hi, I know you love cats and I must say that I went to hard on it when I answer SKOOKUM, comment, I dont dislike cats but I dont like to see cats loose to go on any neighbord,
and kill those beautifull songbirds in a big way too as I have seen with my own eyes;
I think there should be a restriction to prevent that. specialy if you tell the owner of what his cat is doing,
bye
Colleges promote racism. My son played basketball with some of the top Black kids in Colorado. They traveled all over the west. He went to the same college with many of them. At the college, there was a Black organization supported by the student activity fund. When my son ask many of the black players he played with in high school, they told him they could not because they would be ostracized from the black group.
