Yet another conservative star that shines because of Obama and his ilk. Way to go, Governor!

Evidently she and Pearce and Horne and some others have thought all the possible plays out in advance and worked out counter strategies. She directed the legislature to put this option for the governor in the law itself, knowing well that Goddard rose to his level of incompetence when he was Phoenix mayor. There was a related episode where he wasn’t going to cooperate and she went around him. The Dems are circling the wagons. Same old media reporting slants yesterday when the “tens of thousands” of protestors marched in the street (possible; the picture in the Republic is so good some idle person could count them) and “5000″ supporters rallied in Diablo stadium, which holds 15,000 (tiny picture with mostly foreground of one person–background solid people).

Don’t know if everyone realizes this, but we just got back from an Alaskan Inside Passage Cruise and found out that Skookum is famous up there. They even named a coffee after him.

Keep up the great posts, Skookum, we enjoy them.

Brewer seems to be very tough, determined, and smart. That is a winning combination, and in the current political climate, it will sell like hot cakes. People are fed up with the “business in the back room as usual” type of politicians.

I think it is extremely interesting to see the several strong conservative women rising in this country. It is a good thing, but it make you wonder, where have the men all gone? Are they all worn out from playing dirty politics for too long?

That’s good news PB. Hope you enjoyed the trip and saw lots of wildlife. I will be in the Yukon at the end of June, I will be looking for “Skooukum” coffee and gold. Well you can’t blame a guy for panning for a few hours; especially when gold is over $1,000 an ounce. I will be visiting my relatives gold mines (3), they use Caterpillars, I’ll use an oversize pie pan. They mine hundreds of pounds, (with a fuel bill over a million a month), I’ll be tickled pink to find a one ounce nugget. The story of my life.

Dr D, I also find the appearance of strong willed Conservative women intriguing.

I’ve been working on a theory that it is a direct result of the Leftist indoctrination that passes for eduction in our public school system. Within the public school programs, there is a concerted effort to make the American boy as effeminate as possible. Boys are encouraged into a more gender neutral role not only by the schools, but their overly attentive mothers and the MSM as well. Consequently there is a vacuum of masculine leadership and men who seem to be more than anxious to follow a woman’s leadership; a concept that was unthinkable thirty years ago.

I personally admire strong women with leadership ability and will vote for one if she is the right ‘man’ for the job; but I can’t help noticing the whining voice of boys begging or complaining to their mothers and wondering where the masculine little boys have gone.

Governor Brewer also signed into law a “No license required” CCW law.

I think Blake is a bit confused about that CCW law, Concealed Carried Weapon, as the “no license required” part is about the license of the gun and not the person. A criminal doesn’t respect license to carry laws in the UK or in the USA, so Brewer’s logic was legal Citizens shouldn’t be forced to get a Writ of carry permission within a Concealed Carry License but they must still have legal proof of Citizerny to purchase firearms and ammo.

With the passage of time, it is becoming more obvious that President Obama is out of touch with Americans on these critical issues and is leading the country according to a template that is counter intuitive to Americans and in no way represents the will of the average American

Just like Jimmy Carter in the 70′s.
