are trying to passpassed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president that also hasn’t read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.What could possibly go wrong?

Anyway, there can be double and triple ententes or double and triple meanings, trust me, this is a sign your English perception and comprehension is improving. My hero the Bard was the master of the double and triple entente: I am just an anemic understudy.
Despite throwing you a curve ball now and then, it will never be with malicious intent or manner; normally. the purpose is contrary to immediate perception, the secondary message will usually the most important. They were discussing how awful guns are and sited the numerous shootings in Chicago (remember around the time Chicago was in the running for the Olympics)?.
When I insisted that here in Chicago there are no gun shootings.
They were all over me like white on rice – ALL CAPS screaming “don’t you read the newspapers or watch your news” then the insults about my conservative viewpoint – yada yada yada.
I waited until they were really ganging up on me when I replied “well, it can’t be happening because here in Chicago you aren’t allowed to have guns”. They went nuts – sputtering – and then the ban hammer.
Ya just have to love liberals and their mentality.

Personally, while I empathize, I can’t imagine a bigger waste of time and more depressing thought than hangin’ with a bunch of prog 50-something women! Unfortunately they only provide fodder to a friend of mine who just loves to jokingly point out that women’s sufferage was a huge mistake.
