Anyone remember this post from a few months ago?

Tea Party Candidate May Ensure A Harry Reid Win

Well guess what:

Scott Ashjian is one of a record 22 candidates, including 12 Republicans, running for the seat held by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who is seeking a fifth term.

Bernie Zadrowski, head of the Clark County district attorney’s office bad check unit, said he would seek an arrest warrant Monday in Las Vegas Justice Court. Ashjian could face up to 14 years in state prison if convicted.

~~~
In a separate matter, a Carson City District Court judge on Friday set an April 14 hearing on a lawsuit that challenges Ashjian’s “in the Tea Party of Nevada and his place on the ballot.
Of course the MSM being their typical biased selfs they attempt to tie that fake Tea Partier with the Tea Party movement…which, if you read that post first linked above you will find is nothing but utter bulls&%t.
And now there is a video from the group Tea Party Express telling the soon to be prosecuted Scott Ashjian to get lost:
One of two things must happen. Either the Tea Party grows up and has leaders who’ll make sure guys like this don’t ruin the name of the Tea Party.
Or the Republicans get a back-bone, dump the dead-wood of the party, and absorb the Tea Party and make their small government agenda their agenda.
Ivan
You are making the same mistake as the lefties by not understanding the TEA party. It is not an entity that is interested in running any particular candidates, and as such, will not be absorbed into the Republican party. They are just as much against the GOP’s late record of progressivism and out of control spending as they are against the democrats. Indeed, there are many self identified democrat voters who show up at rallies with the same idea of smaller, less intrusive government in their signage as most of the crowds have. The TEA party is more of an entity that is opposed to the government and more concerned with ensuring the reps and senators who are elected, regardless of party, are held accountable to the people for their actions.
Phonies like this clown will NOT help Reid. Actual tea party folks are far too engaged to be conned by such a scam.
Open letter to all America
Democrats, Republicans, Independents
To all God Fearing, America Loving Patriots, At present our government is being run by an Administration and Congress control by Progressive Marxist, with a socialized, collectivist agenda, that has absolutely nothing to do with caring about America or it’s citizens.
This Group lead by Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, have but one idea in mind for America, That is to Destroy it’s Economy, Military, and Freedom.
To obtain by hook or by crook complete control of the Government and the People of the U. S. of America.
This is being done under the umbrella of the Democratic Party – I know in my heart that the majority of Democrats in this country DO NOT Want To Live in an America where every thing is controlled by the Government in D. C. Your News, Schools, TV, Health Care, Food, Recreation,
How many children you can have. Every thing you do will be control – EVEN your DYING.
WE as a free people must stand against those that would subvert our Constitution and destroy the Greatest Country the World has or ever will know.
Write your State representatives, encourage them to stand behind the 10th Amendment, support States Rights over the control by Progressive Marxist now running our Government in D. C..
Indeed, there are many self identified democrat voters who show up at rallies with the same idea of smaller, less intrusive government in their signage as most of the crowds have.
Sorry John, I’m not buying what you’re selling. To be a “democratic voter” and profess a belief in small government is an oxymoron to the tenth degree.
Every primary these Democratic voters are picking between communists (obama) and Socialists (Clinton).
I know in my heart that the majority of Democrats in this country DO NOT Want To Live in an America where every thing is controlled by the Government in D. C. Your News, Schools, TV, Health Care, Food, Recreation,
I appreciate your sentiments Norcal, but the Democrats in this nation have not spoken up in opposition to the progressive agenda.
No Democrat gets a pass in this life-time from me and the base of the Republican Party. Let them EARN my respect by running and nominating small-government candidates.
Till then, you can stop shilling for the Democratic-Socialists.
Ivan:
You of all people should know better than to judge a book by it’s cover.
You believe I am a shill for the Progressive Socialist,
I’m sick of Dick Armey trying to become the leader of the movement.
When the poll came out from conservative voters, the number one thing on the “wish-list” for a platform, was pushing for the FairTax.
It is the ONLY thing that can correct the corruption of this government. It removes their power to enact tax law to favor their big-money re-election backers.
But Armey changed the list….FairTax doesn’t even show up.
@NorCal:
You said, I know in my heart that the majority of Democrats in this country DO NOT Want To Live in an America where every thing is controlled by the Government in D. C
What you “know” and what happens in reality are two different things. Continuously, since 1972, the Democrats have nominated at all levels and in most districts (not all), hard-core leftists-socialists hell-bent on destroying our nation.
I judge them by their actions-they are socialist voters-while you judge them Bill by some nebulous standards that are only in your head.
Judge a man Bill by his actions, not his words or “feelings.”
: I’m sick of Dick Armey trying to become the leader of the movement.
Damn straight. I’m sick of him, Delay, Palin (McCain’s sock puppet), Gingrich, Romney, Pawalty, Jeb Bush, etc.
We need this tired old class to step down, get rid of the internationalists and put some fire-breathing, red-blooded AMERICANS into positions of leadership.
I mean the current leaders look so pathetic every time they are on TV it’s laughable.
I despise Obama, but the man energy and is driven to enact his agenda.
How come we’re stuck with the likes of old-man McCain, Bob Dole and mumble-mouth Bush???
No wonder we can’t win any presidential elections.
Ivan,
Are there any politicians out there who you do support? You seem to bash everyone under the tent, not just on their charisma or lack thereof, but also on policy positions.
Yes Mr. Smith, I have stated this before. Pat Buchanan (too old now) and Tom Tancredo (not perfect, but correct on most major issues). Ditto with Duchan Hunter.
Ivan: Well Ivan, I have actually met and spoken with Duncan Hunter and I doubt he would approve of your moronic extremism.
Ivan
I happen to know quite a few lifetime democrat voters. The local democrats are a different breed than the national stage ones, but these people tend to vote for the democrat, basing their trust in them on their trust for the local guys. These are the people I am talking about. You are lumping them in with the crowd who votes nationally for the democrats knowing they have socialist tendencies, and that is wrong. Many of these people now are finally waking up to the extremism of the liberals and joining the TEA parties as well. I, for one, am not about to tell them to go screw themselves, like you seem to want to do, just because they came to the party late.
@Ivan:
Pat Buchanan (too old now) and Tom Tancredo (not perfect, but correct on most major issues).
So, what happened? Why weren’t they more successful? Tancredo ran as a staunch anti-(illegal)immigration candidate, yet polled in primaries and caucuses below 2%….why? Was it the party establishment’s fault? And in 2000, why did Buchanan fair so poorly?
@Ivan
The only “politician” on your list is Duncan. Pat is a Jew-hating isolationist talking-head idiot. Tancredo lost badly, has retired and gone away.
Duncan will not deport 12 million illegals in one-fell-swoop either.
Looks like you’re SOL. Start a militia with your cousin..
Mike:Ivan: Well Ivan, I have actually met and spoken with Duncan Hunter and I doubt he would approve of your moronic extremism.
Wow, you really are a insecure little man. The amount of “I’ve done this, I’ve done that…I’ve met this man…I worked with this man..” really illustrates how insecure you are.
And your ravings about “I’m through with you Ivan!” I mean you keep “washing your hands of me” and then keep coming back to me really is a sign of bi-polar disorder.
You should get that checked, Napoleon.
So, what happened? Why weren’t they more successful? Tancredo ran as a staunch anti-(illegal)immigration candidate, yet polled in primaries and caucuses below 2%….why? Was it the party establishment’s fault? And in 2000, why did Buchanan fair so poorly?
These men sounded the clarion call BEFORE the economic collapse, which has, in time, shown they were correct and prescient well before their time. 😉
Oh well! We listened to the internationalist wing of the party and look what it got us? Now we’ll see 20-30 MILLION ILLEGALS given amnesty, thus diluting the conservative voting block even further. 😳
Let’s face it, eight years of neo-con Bush has put the final nail in the coffin of the establishment Republicans. Problem is, they refuse to let go and go quietly into the night.
@Ivan…Are you capable of making a point – ANY point – without insulting someone or, as seems to be your M.O., without insulting an entire segment of the population?
You seem to be somewhat intelligent, but your over the top rhetoric, personal attacks, and smears against any and all who you do not agree with just make everyone on this board write you off as a hateful, spiteful troll of a kook.
Why not try making a point, and sticking to something called facts? Stay away from the insults and personal attacks, I challenge you to do this. Are you up to it? Are you even capable?
@Ivan:
I’ve offered you the benefit of my experience. In return, you have offered me and the readers here NOTHING but insults.
For the umpteenth time: you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
You don’t deserve any more consideration than that.
But that doesn’t mean I intend to give you a free pass to spout your idiocy.
You are too excellent an illustration on what is wrong with a small minority of conservatives for me to stay silent.
Thank goodness there are so few of you around.
Most of those who used to think like you have come to their senses.
Idiot!
Mike Bi-polar: Once again, you offer us NOTHING but insults.
Oh poor baby. Don’t want to be treated like a Richard Cranium? Stop acting like one yourself.
And ditch the victocrat status.
For the umpteenth time: you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
Yeah, you’ve said that at least a dozen times. Move on now.
You don’t deserve any more consideration than that.
But that doesn’t mean I intend to give you a free pass to spout your idiocy.
And what idiocy is that? (also notice the insult you’ve, again, tossed out). I offer a more activist agenda and it’s “idiotic”? Given the horrific failure of the methods you’ve espoused, why should conseratives continue to follow you down Loser Highway?
You are too excellent an illustration on what is wrong with a small minority of conservatives for me to stay silent.
Right. Sure. Keep saying that too yourself, toll-man of Loser Highway, and maybe even, one day, you’ll believe it.
Most of those who used to think like you have come to their senses.
Idiot!
What are you? Ten years old? Funny how others with whom I disagree with have no problem engaging in rational discourse. But not you with your child-like insults.
And then you bitch and compalin when I throw it back in your face.
Typical country-clubber. We need street fighters, not Grandmas like you.
@Ivan…Are you capable of making a point – ANY point – without insulting someone or, as seems to be your M.O., without insulting an entire segment of the population?
To whom, aside from the man-child Mike, am I so terribly insulting to?
Leave out any of the political hacks whom I’ve mentioned, they deserve it.
@Ivan
You are an insult to all those who actually think, plan and do.
-It’s past time we flush you. You have NEVER provided anything close to “rational discourse” with anyone.
Begone, ye. The PaulBots await.
You are an insult to all those who actually think, plan and do.
WTF? Given your history of insulting those you disagree with, I’ll take anything and everything you say with a grain of salt.
😈
@Ivan…when I read your posts I am reminded of that old saying…’Tis better to remain silent and let them think you a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
My challenge remains, make a point without insults and condescension.
I am betting you incapable of such.
Wise up fellow conservatives, Ivan is an obvious democrat/liberal plant that is just here to stir up trouble. They hire losers who cant get real jobs to make ridiculous comments on conservative websites/blogs.
Ignore him. 🙄
or maybe he’s just rude….
Thaddeus McCotter would get my vote.
