Great video of the knitted cap. The symbolism of this is outstanding. American is no longer a red or a blue country. We are all grey, like in the Apple “1984″ commercial.

Could the knitted cap be a subconsious symbol of the Phrygian cap as depicted in the US Army Seal?
In the western provinces of the Roman Empire it came to signify freedom and the pursuit of liberty.
The Phrygian cap is sometimes called a liberty cap.

Well, the live video portion was quite a challenge and I really missed my trusty assistant, Doug Welch. He is my man Friday when covering events like this.
I was trying out a new technology to enhance my coverage of political events. Anyway, you win some, you lose some with tech.
Of course, there are photos and additional video of the day, I’ll post as soon as they are uploaded to Flickr and Youtube.
@Skye: At least you did not try and do ot after Happy Hour like CPAC and have it aired when we thought it was not live.

Using the phone for a video camera is not exactly the greatest
I called my Representative, got the answering machine. I guess that’s better than the busy signal, but neither is a good sign..
Don’t you guys have RECALL? Why aren’t the protesters threatening a Recall vote on any and all of the members who vote for this ‘bill’ that is so obviously against the will of the majority of citizens?
@Johny Canuck: Election for every member of the U.S. House and one third of the Senate will happen in November. We will remember who voted for this.
