President Obama plans to pardon jailed Former Louisiana Democratic Congressman Bill (cash in the freezer) Jefferson, who he will then appoint as Czar in charge of the freezing of the deficit.
Krauthammer outed the scheme today on Fox as a 3 Card Monte…Since they’ve raised budgets/spending 24 -35% since taking office, that’s what will be frozen. They’ve already done the dirty work. It’s another farce.
AnnMonterey, it reminds me of the old shell game without the pea. Anything remotely resembling fiscal responsibility or thinly disguised as such by the current economically illiterate administration
is at this point a “no sale” for me. These folks have no sense of frugality or financial responsibility on either side of the aisle.
The earmarks alone from the 111th Congress are proof of that. I am not an economist but even a dumb old grunt like me can balance a checkbook.
The Obama Legacy is all about the deficit, unemployment and the fox watching the hen house. Any TARP funds or remaining unwasted Stimulus spending needs to be halted. The next two or three generations of American taxpayers have had a yoke of debt placed on their backs that is unprecedented in our history as a nation. It is a little late for posturing or token measures.
How stupid do the statists honestly think we are??? Once again, their pompous arrogance will be their undoing.
