As an extra special aside, the Zero Administration actually released raw footage from this event showing President Zero speaking with the kiddies sans the teleprompter. The footage, which can be found on, “Hot Air,” is about a minute and a half of the POTUS first entering the classroom and saying hi to the kiddies.
What a commentary, that the whitehouse staff actually found a reason to combat this allegation. This Teleprompter in Chief meme has hit a raw nerve. Not only that, but they needed to combat it with a less than honest release of the, “raw footage.” If Bill Clinton was the first, “Black President,” then B.Hussein Obama is the first, “Milly Vanilly President.” The remaining 3 years of this administration is going to be a lesson in self destruction for centuries to come.
I often wonder if Obama takes that teleprompter to bed at night?
Be it far from me to defend the President, but by that point he was not talking to kids…he was addressing the press.
The optics of course are still horrible…
…especially when you realize that the picture above was from a 5-6 minute statement.
So…yes…Obama was not addressing the kiddies at that time… but he still required his Linus blanket to make sure he didn’t make any gaffes during his 5-6 minute statement to the media.

This is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. obama can ‘t even talk to 6 graders without someone talking for him. what a crock. – and yet there are some that still think he is wonderful. obama one day, they will find out what a fraud you are and will impeach you, imprison you and probably deport you. – and take your wife and MIL along with you.

His handlers should have known better being as though this is the MO of the left, we’ll chalk this one up as Obama’s “mission accomplished” moment. Can’t say they don’t deserve it.

I beg to differ. Obama didn’t bring TOTUS to the 6th graders, TOTUS brought its human speaker to the classroom to give its speech to the younguns.
