If the Progressive Socialists can’t win in Mass, do they plan to sweep the country with more of the same? This is bizarre, the next viable party will be an offshoot of old style Democrats, a party that will have real chances in the future. May the Progressive Socialists be swept away into obscurity by their own stupidity and ineptness.

Cutting up the credit card is the best way to curtail spending. So simple yet so unfathomable to our current Congress.

Someone please help me understand this… did i miss something?

Just to clarify what I read: The democrats propose to increase said debt limit, to borrow more money to pay off existing debts?? How does that get us out of debt at all??? Again, unless I missed something or misread the entire post…?

Neil, it is simple, if you propose insanity long enough, it will appear normal.

The record increase in the so-called debt limit is required because the budget deficit has spiraled out of control in the wake of a recession that cut tax revenues, the Wall Street bailout, and increased spending by the Democratic-controlled Congress.

  8. Karl Rove has an excellent commentary on Obama’s big spending:

As with everything else, Obama is trying to blame the massive deficits on BUSH. But voters aren’t that stupid.

“It’s clear Democrats are going to keep this runaway train going full speed until it runs off the rails and takes us all down with it!”

That’s been quite apparant since even before the presidential election of 2008, to anyone who knew about Barack Obama and the Cloward-Piven strategy, and about Ayers and Dorhm, and about Jeremiah Wright, and about Frank Marshall Davis, and about the entire history of Communism in America.

    Clear as a bell.

That people are still going “wow!” is what’s amazing to me.
