Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Sunday that the thwarting of the attempt to blow up an Amsterdam-Detroit airline flight Christmas Day demonstrated that “the system worked.”
Asked by CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union” how that could be possible when the young Nigerian who has been charged with trying to set off the bomb was able to smuggle explosive liquid onto the jet, Napolitano responded: “We’re asking the same questions.”
Napolitano added that there was “no suggestion that [the suspect] was improperly screened.”
The system worked? You have to be joking. How can she claim it worked when a man was able to get a bomb on board a plane and almost set it off were it not for a bad detonator and some heroic passengers?

That is just about the dumbest thing she could say, on the merits and politically. I would wager that not one percent of Americans think the system is “working” when terrorists successfully get bombs onto planes (and succeed in activating them). Probably even fewer think it’s fair that they have to take off their shoes, endure delays and madness while a known Islamic radical — turned in by his own father — can waltz onto a plane (and into the country). DHS had no role whatsoever in assuring that this bomb didn’t go off. By her logic if the bomb had gone off, the system would have “worked” since it has done everything right.

The system worked alright. The passengers had to go through the mindless ,humiliating, degrading sham security so the government could pretend they are doing something. Meanwhile the Muslim got on the plane and set off a bomb. The Napolitano Gestapo should be monitoring jihadists, not Tea Party Patriots. Her statement is proof that she is nothing but a con artist and a propagandist.

I think her “system worked” demonstrated a mind set. Everything she listed, without much in the way of specifics, was all reactive. As well as her stress on a criminal, not terrorist, investigation.

Let’s not be too sharp with poor Napolitano, she is merely an example of the most incompetent and anti-American Administration to ever be in Washington. After Homeland Security goes through their jigs and dances while extolling their affection for Jihadists and Marxists and their fear of our vets (our most treasured Americans and most loyal patriots); it is Third World incompetence and human initiative that saved the day, not Janet and Fearless Reader, the Mutt and Jeff laughingstock of the Muslim World. When you put your faith in morons and incompetents, what else can you expect.
The Muslim Fanatics are going to be sending more nut cases at us, while we worry over the negative images of profiling and the loss of out precious artificial ideas of Diversity. Until we change this government, we no longer have a government with our security and well being foremost in their goals: we have a government that is fascinated with capitulating to Muslim Fundamentalism and Redistributing our wealth to the Socialists and Marxists of the Third World and the United Nations while humiliating us in front of the world.
Pelosi can get on camera and mince tears from her Plastic surgeon’s night mare of a face about the ferociousness of Tea Party people, Obama can make pretty ineffectual campaign speeches, and Napolitano can worry about flu shots for a nonexistent pandemic; but we need leaders to lead this country through these troubled times. Leaders that realize that we are at war with Muslim fanatics who want to destroy our country and kill our people, leaders who realize that the political corruption that was ignored in the past is out of control and about to plunge our country into an Orwellian nightmare.
Leaders who are not shy about announcing that Black Nationalists and Communists like Obama’s past associates and the Czars in his Politbureau are not here to contribute to our country; but to destroy our country and our economic system. The enemies of this country are in the Obama Administration and within the Democrat Party. It is time to become extremely active, 2010 is a few days away, it is time for us to enter into survival mode: for if we allow this travesty continue, we will be finished before 2012 gets here!

What is our mission in 2010? It should be to teach ourselves why America’s political tradition worked and what will happen if we change it. Obama wants us to change. He wants us to become like the Old World America left in the 18th century. He wants us to forget what the libertarian 19th century Democrats provided that gave us so much prosperity when compared to the stagnation of the Old World. He wants the American society well-oiled and ordered so the few elite can rule the many, for our own good, of course. America’s individual freedom has never been tried elsewhere, though partially approached in some more modern nations. Yet, 80% of the world’s people are struggling to exist, many starving, all under one dictatorship or another. Not so in America, unless deciding to be struggling and unhappy. We need to teach ourselves the difference so we can make the best decision of whether America will fall in line, get on its knees and be ruled by the few, or renew its pledge to individual freedom. As long as fundamentalist (yes I said fundamentalist) muslims fail the ignition phase of their operations we can say the “system works”. Heaven help us if the Jihadists figure out how to make idiot proof matches.

If the system worked she never would have made it to governor of the great state of the late great Barry Goldwater, to say nothing of obtaining a national security post. Our political system is illegitimate and it is made possible by the mainstream propaganda machine that churns out an endless supply of free political ads for liberals. People like Barry Goldwater are shunned, people like the execrable Lyndon B Johnson or Jimmah Carter are given great power. The lies of socialism must be drowned out by the cry for freedom.

This happened because the PC Machine is now in full effect with DHS. The terrorist was not screened properly because he was:
1. Black
2. Muslim
3. Foreign born Black Muslim
Translation, we can pull kids and old people aside who are obvious americans and search them but not focus on the demographic that the terrorist are in since that might be profiling.
The only thing that is a bigger joke then the DHS is the congress that allowed it to become the bureaucracy it became. Napolitano couldn’t find a terrorist in Gitmo if she search all day. To paraphrase John Wayne “it a tough world out there, but it’s tougher if you are stupid” and she is stupid!
