A very Merry Christmas to Curt, Mike, and the whole gang here at Flopping Aces. Thanks so much for all the hard work providing insight and vision in these “troubled” times. There is a light at the end of this “tunnel-vision” our dear liberal friends have chosen, and I see brighter times ahead as more, (on both sides), begin to reject government intervention into our daily lives. As Michael Medved says, (and I agree), “this is still the greatest place on God’s green earth”.

May the Joy of the Christmas season fill your heart with renewed hope for 2010!

Thank you Mike! In the spirit of hope and our common American sense of Family, may your Christmas be a great one and blessings to you and your families. Thanks for the lively debates this year, and may God keep you safe and well ’till we lock horns again in the future!

And please do check out my Christmas poem on the Burris thread….

AND, A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU, TOO, MIKE! Thank you for the beautiful song and picture! I do have much renewed hope for 2010, and I feel it in the other Christmas shoppers around me, too. They may not know why, but I think people are sensing good things ahead!

I always have a slogan for each year, and this is what I have for this year (I used to only share it with family, mostly my Dad, but since he’s gone, I will share it with my Flopping Aces family):

    “WE WILL WIN IN 2010!!!”

Meaning Republicans in Congress specifically, but also to all Americans who believe in conservative values, liberty and freedom!!

And, GREETINGS to EVERYONE here at Flopping Aces, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you, too!! :)

Speaking as one FA author, I know that all of you, and your regular input, battles and kudos, are a year round Christmas gift to me. So please let me add my wishes to Mike’s, and to you all…. may your Christmas be the merriest, your appreciation for the simplest joys enhanced, and the New Year abundant with the blessings of freedom.

And Mike? Thanks for the spot of cheer in an otherwise dreary time of political life, eh?

  9. @MataHarley: I have a feeling that the “dreary time” has come to an end. The best Christmas present I could have is Obama’s record low approval numbers. The lowest of ANY modern president in his first year.

The snakeoil isn’t selling and I couldn’t be happier!

    Merry Christmas to all!

In the name of Christ, for whose birth Christmas is celebrated, let us hope for peace on earth and good will to all persons.

    Peace, brothers and sisters.

Thanks for all you’ve done, and continue to do in the cause of this great country.
Let’s kick some butt this year!

  12. @Patvann: There can only be a truce if there was a war. And I recognize any past difference as little more than a challenge for me to refine my persuasive skills. But thanks all the same.

I’ll embed your video contribution here:

And in the year ahead when we might have our differences, let’s ask ourselves: WHAT WOULD REAGAN DO?
