If Bush had ordered this irresponsible assault on Yemen you would have been gushing shamelessly about his courage and determination. Now, you hypocritically lambaste Obama. He deserves the criticism for this thoughtless act. However, you would have given Bush a pass and complained that the “liberal media” had not hailed his triumph.

This is almost “Cookie Cutter” similar to Clinton’s cruise missile attacks on the aspirin factory and “two camels and a tent” in Afghanistan. Playing “whack -a-mole” with Predator drones based upon questionable intelligence in Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan from less than fully vetted sources creates more enemies than that Tropical Resort at GITMO ever did. “Surgical Strikes” my @ss!

Without fully vetted HUMINT, there will be Civilian casualties. This is exactly the result of a weakened, thoroughly dumbed down and underfunded CIA and an Administration that is playing pin the tail on the Donkey in amateur style with hellfire missiles. The “intel” comes from Third World operatives of questionable character instead of a robust CIA. Folks that I would not trust to park my car.

I have seen some of this “intel” and would not trust a word of it. Whats worse yet is the fact that Obama’s National Security Team at decision making levels quite obviously do not know the difference. There will be a backlash from this type of activity. The loss of trust on the part of traditional Allies is forthcoming as this continues. Just because the Obama enamored US Press does not report it does not mean that the rest of the world does not read about it or get the news of this from alternative sources.
