I have to agree with you. I graduated 8th grade in 1979. The 80′s were the best that music offered in my opinion. It was my coming of age.

Metal was my favorite and still is. Maiden is one of my absolute favorites. Metallica was a favorite in the 80′s, then they sold out after the “black” album. Megadeth and Dave Mustaine with “Peace Sells”, I still love to blast that song. Don’t forget Metal Shop on the radio Friday nights. Hours of hard music and interviews. Such happy memories. Excuse me while I “bang my head”.
