To address you Madalyn, we are not a Christian nation, for religion to rule the blessed-nation of America, we would be a theocracy. We’d be no better then 1600′s England or European countries. We would be ruled out of fear of afterlife, not by the present, so we would do everything we could to appease a supposedly real Almighty One. Secondly, the GOP’s misinformation campaign, is darn-near the same as the one that the GOP used Clinton-Era to shoot down Clinton’s campaign. Whilst you may not agree with me, there is solid evidence of the previous statement. Now, considering as how we live in the greatest nation in the world, do we not deserve competetive health care? I don’t know what your insurance is like, but mine charges an arm and a leg for something as simple as stitches, and God-forbid anything more serious then stitches happens. I’m not necessarily backing Obama’s plan, but I am backing my personal ideology of “If you’re going to make yourself sound stupid, don’t say anything at all.”

This should come as no surprise to any of us. The dems are all about moral equivalence and they ALWAYS give in to the party line. Nelson and Landreau will both vote yes and I suspect Liberman will also. The will of the people are never considered by ideologues because they always know whats good for us. Our only hope is that when the Bush tax cuts go away at the end of 2010 and the new Obama tax increases come on line that the public will go nuts and throw the bums out. Maybe after that the new republican Congress can revisit the health care bill.

this would be a point at which I would consider leaving the country. However, where would you go? Each country is either there or on the brink. Guess I should research a little more, but I draw the line at using my dollars to support the massacre of babies. And if I don’t pay? I (and my family) go to prison.. not a likely plan. Seems like we are running out of options. Take our country back by force, or find another america which doesn’t exist. Unless of course, we just trade with mexico and reinvent the wheel.
