Would a true Citizen of the World cut off funding to a poor nation like Honduras?

I don't care if Obama was born on a plane crossing four state corners and two US times zones. That he wrote "a white mans greed creates a world in need" then spend millions to prevent him from handing over a piece of paper that cost $8.00.

Think how many poor villages around the world he could have fed instead of feeding lawyers thousands bales of bucks! HYPOCRITE!

Greetings:

If I may add an item to your list, to truly be "a citizen of the world", should one not have multiple citizenships.

A good while back, I came across an item on one of those entertainment news TV shows about a model who was upset that her request for a third different citizenship had been denied. Two were not quite enough, you see.

Departing from the ridiculous for a moment, this trend is one that I find disturbing. Whether it's my "no man can serve two masters" religious background or my naive concept of personal loyalty, I am unable to subscribe to this mode of political behavior. I find it to be, at the very least, another slippery slope that we have ventured out on without any likelihood of public benefit. In an era of some of the largest inflows of immigrants into our country, there is apparently no real requirement that citizens limit their loyalty to just one polity.

There's a political scientist by the name of Stanley Renshon at the Center for Immigration Studies who has written some interesting articles about the impact of dual citizenships. You may want to take a look.
