Reagan Would Be Proud of Her

Pit Bull with Lipstick

Pre Order Going Rogue HERE

Peter Heck, a public high school teacher, penned an articulate case of the mainstream media’s obsessive Palin bashing. Quite frankly, the writing is on the wall and it what it says scares the MSM.

Since the moment she burst onto the national scene, there has been an unparalleled effort amongst the so-called sophisticated elites to destroy Sarah Palin. Unparalleled, but not unprecedented.

In the 1970s, the dominant left feared the rise of another radical right-wing governor of a western state — you might remember his name: Ronald Reagan — and they utilized a full arsenal of tactics to try to slow his meteoric rise. Comparing their words and actions then to their current anti-Palin crusade now is stunning.

Of course the tone and actions of today’s Democrats are off the charts. I’m sure Reagan was not hung in effigy, nor was his personal contact information made public. But that was then, this is now. Hopefully, in the end, the result will be the same:

After all, everyone knows how the Reagan story ended: the annihilation of a bumbling predecessor, a clear conservative agenda that revitalized the American economy and ended the Cold War, a landslide re-election of embarrassing proportions, and a legacy as one of America’s greatest Chief Executives. Considering then the striking parallels between the “Gipper” and the “Pitbull with lipstick,” maybe the left’s deranged animosity towards her is simply born out of a fear of the inevitable.

2012 cannot come soon enough.

I cannot agree more that it is the elitists who are terrified of Palin. Look up the background of almost any pundit, left or right, who disses Palin and what do you find? Ivy League eastern-school pedigree. David Corn (Brown University), previously known mainly for a compendium of Bush “lies”, had one up today: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/10/12/sarah-palin-is-she-really-serious-about-politics/. But you’ll find the same thing if you dig into the background of critics on the right like Mirengoff, Brooks, Frum, and Krauthammer. A grad of the University of Idaho will never do. I’m sure thay would have entertained similar doubts about a graduate of Eureka College. Can’t have that, now can we.

I believe that Ronald Reagan was hung in effigy and more when he was Governor of California.

When he “raised” the price of a UC education for nothing to a few hundred dollars in “fees” (during the VietNam War no less) you can bet that many on the Left were unhappy to see their “free” draft-free haven disturbed.

Watch some of the videos from last election of people who voted for the zero. They believed EVERY lie that the media told them about Palin. Not only that, every idiotic statement that the zero made (remember his “all 57 states” blunder?), the Obama worshipers attributed to Palin.

Stupid people is how Democrats get elected.

Heck’s article is spot-on, but it isn’t only the DemocrRat elites.

The Republican elite’s hate her too, because she makes them look bad.

Unfortunately, Sarah Palin has to watch back as well as her front.

    DEATH TO RINO’S!

Tom N – Plus, she is also a lady, which is sorely lacking in the Dem conclave. She is intelligent, spunky, classy, and funny too. I would vote for her in a heartbeat. She has weathered a real storm against the Dems, and even tho she didn’t win the VP spot, that was not her fault. McCains advisors and the MSM are to blame for that. If the MSM had treated her half as fairly as they did Odumbo, she would have won in a landslide.

I don’t read right-wing books but if i were a publisher I would have paid her a grip for the rights to publisher her book. It’s going to be a beast on the New York Times best sellers list. I for one have nothing against her going out and making her money. Hell, we say the same thing to college athletes who are projected to go in the first round of a draft. strike while the iron is hot. That’s what she’s doing and more power to her.

I would read the reviews but I doubt they tell will tell me much. I think most of you guys will believe it will rank as one of the great novels of the past 100 years and place Sarah Palin as the next coming of Lee Harper while those of the left will view it as something close to the National Enquirer. I’m just going to re-read City of Thieves by David Benioff (a great book by the way).

Madalyn, Spot on. The fear coming from the left is because she is a lady! Ronald Reagan would have loved her. She has good moral values, which are in very short supply in the DC media and corrupt politicians.

    Go Sarah!

This recovering liberal who voted straight Democrat until I was 58 CANNOT WAIT to cast my vote for Sarah Palin in 2012 for President. She may be America’s last hope for the return of common sense to government before the elites can fully implement the controls necessary for subjecting the little people to perpetual comfortable serfdom.

Sarah is giving us big indications that she WILL run in 2012. The day she announces that, you will see the media spin, the biased pollsters doing their dirty job and leftist bloggers invading the internet to creat another fake pro Obama mania to create the impression Obama is the one.

Neither did Reagan have his church arsoned while children were inside, for that matter.

Actually, it’s not just elites that bash Sarah Palin – I know many lower-middle class women that can’t stand her and have convinced themselves that Palin is “stupid”. The only reasons that I can figure out is that a) they get their news from SNL and b) they see Palin as a serious threat to their husbands and just can’t get over their catty mindsets.

Sarah Palin will be the GOP nominee in 2012. Over 70% of Republicans in all states love this woman. All polls scientific and non scientific have her winning big among Republicans. And her book sales, her facebook following and the crowds and enthusiasm she generates indicates that she might even run away with those primaries and caucuses.
Once she gets the nomination, her historic train will be difficult to stop. Ask Obama!

Now that’s a great idea. Sarah Palin for President in 2012. I hopes she wins the Republican nomination. So we can have another Democrat in the Whitehouse in 2012. Go Palin!

@Spin Hater: Do not be too hasty in wanting Palin as the nominee. We will have over 10% unemployment for about 2 years and a economy in shambles. Palin or anyone other than McCain should be able to beat Obama in 2012, unless he stops his lurch to the Left.

Carter II or being the worst president ever is not a good way to win elections

Yes, go Palin! Democrats are so scared of this WOMAN. It would be death for liberals that the first woman nominee for US president and the first woman president will be a Republican conservative woman.

    @Stix1972

Sir with all due respect we just had the worst President in American History. The current President can’t do much worse than that. And the last President was re-elected after abusing his power and with the help of his brother riged an election. So Palin can run she couldn’t be worse than what had. However; I don’t think she has a chance to win unless she runs a totally different campaign than last year. And learns to make a statement that makes sense.

Spin Hater – If you were to sit down with me for an interview, and I asked you:
“Do you subscribe to the Obama doctrine”?
    What would your answer be?
    Bush had NO “doctrine”.
Gibson looked down his nose at her. She was a lady throughout the whole rigged episode.
Obama has no “doctrine” either. He has nothing. He is nothing. He is an empty suit that walks around campaigning constantly and taking his “wife” out on dates courtesy of US taxpayers. He is spending our money like he has a right to.
Sarah Palin can out-govern this creep who occupies the WH from every corner.
I hope Sarah ousts this creep in 2012 and you can choke on your spittle as far as I am concerned.
I guess Ms. Palin is a real threat to you imbiciles because just the mention of her name can twist your panties into a really tight wad.

Sarah Palin makes more sense than all the inept people in Congress combined. She is Right in Energy. She is Right on Israel, North Korea, Aghanistan, Iraq, Venezula, Cuba, Iran and Russia. She is Right about Values and Health care. She is Right of economy and she is Right when she says Government is not the solution.
You need to start paying attention to what this young lady says because she speaks from the average American’s perspective. The media and comedians have tried to twist her message but they have failed.
