You know Pookie, each week I try to look at the toons you post links to, and each time I try it crashes my wireless because the links are toooooo slooooow.
Can’t you up load those somewhere where they load one at a time, or they are faster?
Hi, Mob Boss. Not sure what to say. Have been posting them at several sites for several years & the only folks I’ve ever heard that from were dial-up users. The five links I post here each week are from 5 different sites, 1 uses HTML & the other 4 use different versions of BBCode. I’m on a PC, but my wife & son have no problem seeing them on their laptops. Since I’m at a loss, here’s a link to my subforum from one of the sites…see how this works for you:
Pookie,
Thanks for the link, but I get a similar problem. As soon as the images start to down load, my Netgera router says “goodbye” and I’m booted off the network. I suppose it could be a packet size issue as that would knock down a lot of dial up connections too, but I don’t get why the sites you post would not negotiate acceptable packet sizes when everyone else does.
Nah Pookie it wouldn’t. It’s a bit above my paygrade as well and I’m a network guy. There is just something about those sites that knocks down my home router.
I’ll just have to peek when I get to class tomorrow.

GREAT! THANKS.

MOB Boss,
To paraphrase 0bama, this is above my pay grade
Maybe someone else here has some ideas…
Would sending you (if I had an e-mail address) the HTML do anything for you (I have tomorrow’s HTML ready)?

OK, MOB Boss. There’s a 6th site to which I’ve posted, but it’s been down for months…supposedly getting a new server…
Keep them coming! Great jokes.

Comment #16 (by MR) must’ve been posted by mistake…it’s word-for-word the same as comment #5 above…
@pookie18:
#16 was SPAM….and not the sandwich type.
Thanks, Aye Chihuahua…not fond of either type…
Just to be clear, I did not make the comment previously known as #16
Knew it wasn’t you, MOB Boss. Find out anything at work re the toon-viewing problem?
Didn’t go to class today. I’m staying home to play with the bug my GF brought from work.
Bug? VW, insect, recording device, or something else?
Flu bug, I think.
Ugh…”playing” with the bug threw me
