These folks are a bunch of misguided fools, useful idiots. Everyone keep in mind this is more than just Obama. The radical LEFT is running the country. That is why the mid-terms are so important for conservative candidates to win & retake Congress. This not impossible.

That is probably one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen. And I thought of the same thing The Chris Rock Show posted.

And I thought the Church of Global Warming was bad – I had to bail at the “Deliver us Obama” refrain.

    @ tfhr

I had to bail at the “Deliver us Obama” refrain.

Wow. I thought it was just me, but I had the exact same reaction.

My extended family is quite Catholic, (almost all are in Wis.) and are as a group, are very moderate people, who lean ever-so-slightly right. But this time, and by a large margin, they voted for Obama. Against their best interest’s, and just as important, their own belief-structure. (I myself haven’t gone to formal services on my own in 30 years, except for the occasional funeral or marriage.)

Although I knew this, I’ve never expressed anything “political” in my correspondence with them over the past year. In fairness, they’ve never tried to push anything on me. Just a nice, weekly family-update between 4 generations, 2000 miles, and several dozen nice folk.

In the past month, it seems that the dam has broke, and what might seem a bit surprising to ya’ll, I didn’t start it!

One highly-esteemed auntie went OFF on his healthcare bill, and now everyday is filled with something one or the others have just seen/realized, but to me it’s usually something I’ve known for months, even years. It’s kinda cool in a sad sort of way, and I’ve still not really said anything…

So this morning I gave them ALL this video, and included a 30+direct list ‘o links to various articles and websites. Ah burrried dem in da muck that IS Obama all at once, minus the dozen or so items/actions they already had recently learned about.

I didn’t bother with the birth-cert thing, as it seems superfluous in light of the amount of e-mail I’ve recieved asking for more. :-) Dem bein pissed off farmers out dere, ya-betcha!

I hope that the ministers in the video – if they are real ministers – are identified by their respective churches and congregations and stripped of their positions in the clergy for the outright blasphemous behavior exhibited.

Useful idiots is right. Useless fools is also right.

I have a feeling every one of those “ministers” are either adherents to Black Liberation Theology, or Progressive Christians. In either case, the congregants eagerly took up a collection and sent them via first class, amid a hail of hosannas. Since every “church” is independent, there will be no fallout for these worshipers of a man.

These preacher-hucksters use the same sort of methods that Axelrod uses, and are cynically using the members of their church-cult to milk them out of ever more cash. Notice the nice home Wright’s church paid for him to retire in, and where he chose to have it built.

    They know not God.

Okay, as fast as Breitbart and Beck jumped on this in the morning (and BOTH are heroes of mine), within hours there was a debate going on where ever the vid was posted.

Are they chanting “deliver us, oh God” or “deliver us, Obama”.

Now, when the debate started I shut off all surrounding noise, cranked up my computer sound to a clear but loud level and pressed my headphones on snugly.

    Here is what I heard.

    “Oh, God” is 2 syllables

    “Obama” is 3 syllables.

I heard about 60-70% of the chant at 2 syllables, and the remaining 40-30% at 3 syllables… And it is not a clear argument that many people were just straggling/lagging voices in the 99.999% in clear unison chant. I could hear the word “Obama” ‘fairly’ clear at times, but it seems the other voices were drowning it out.

I think we need the CIA technology on this … heh!

As to Breitbart and Beck … Beck had on someone from http://breitbart.tv/ on his radio show this a.m. talking about this video. He was supposed to be on Fox this evening on Beck’s show there, but wasn’t … and no mention of THIS video was made by Beck. The video itself is no longer on http://breitbart.tv/ front page, and might have been dropped. I’m thinking both parties vetted the video and had possibly come to the same doubts as to what was being chanted, expecially since the Breitbart TV guy said on the radio that they were transcribing the audio to post with the video on their site … but as I said, it’s gone.

Anyhow, the “service” WAS creepy and highly political, and in no way spiritual or religious. But then, neither is Rev. Wright’s “church”.

  14. @Maggie:

The original clip is still there as well as an additional full length clip.

Nothing has been taken down, it just seems to have rotated from the front page as additional posts have been added.

There is an editor’s note there which points out a debate over what was being said along the same vein that you pointed out.

    Aye Chihuahua -

    Thanks for the update.

Didn’t do a search of their site because my computer is having it’s late day wonky-donk and didn’t want to have to reboot in the middle of something else I was doing.

BTW, when I first saw this video this morning this scene

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bRSHSOOdeQ

from “Beneath The Planet Of The Apes” came to mind, and we all know how that ended.

Thank goodness for the citizen journalists in the new media!

I predict more and more of these type of videos will come forward as people are gaining the
    courage to speak up.

Speaking of videos, has anyone heard more on the ACORN tapes further release? The last mention by Breitbart seemed to hint at something about New York.

@ThomNJ: What was that about separation of church and state that the liberal lefties were yelling so loudly about a few years back? This makes me want to throw up. This definitely has to go viral. And I agree, the “ministers” if they really are ministers, should be reprimanded and removed from their positions. Of course, the black church will never do that.

    Hi Ann

I don’t want to come off sounding weenie about this, but I think it’s very important to distinguish between Black Liberation Theology churches (BLT), and “Black churches” in general, most of which utilize the Southern Baptist model of preaching, with the distinction of adding their “touch” to praising God.

I have been to many celebrations of the Lord, under many different auspices and creeds, and I must say that I have never felt more joy, acceptance, and love as when I’ve spent time with Black-themed (for lack of a better word) church. If you want to truly FEEL the saying: “He who sings, prays twice”, then the BSB is the place to be. I’ve been moved to tears everytime I go.

Gospel Blues is some of the greatest music a heart can hear.

I was lucky to have one near my home when I lived in Milpitas Cal, and everytime I went in, I was welcomed, hugged, joked with, and prayed for. I’ve been invited to come up and sing, to dance, and no matter what I was feeling before, I always came out happy, and was always invited for great food at someone’s home for brunch (or to watch football) after services.

I know you know there’s a difference, and I’m not singling you out or anything, but I guess I just wanted to take this as an opportunity to remind all of us to make sure that those around us make that distinction as well.

I would hope that if one of our family or friends seems to lump the two together in a derogatory way, that we can all stand up for what’s right, and use it as an opportunity to teach the difference.

@Patvann: I too have attended Southern Baptist churches, of both white and black. If this church is a mainstream Baptist Church, then post Obama they have lost their way. This meeting was full of what looked to me (red caps and tee shirts) ACORN workers. To me, that shouts BLT. And, I don’t really care what they preached before…this was wrong, wrong, wrong. How dare they use the church in this way.
