Sanctions against Iran will accomplish very little no matter how deserving. They won’t be as worthless as the meek attempt to apply sanctions to Iraq because France may actually help this time around with Sarkozy replacing Saddam’s friend and business partner, Chirac. My preference would be to apply sanctions against any nation conducting business with Iran. That would make a difference but those pigs have not been fitted with wings yet and likely never will.

Anyone listening to Obama’s UN speeches will wonder by what right we would impose our beliefs and values on Iran.

After such a stirring speech of moral equivalency, who are we to tell them that they are not good enough, or equal enough, to possess nuclear facilities?

What wiggle room did Obama’s speech give him to allow him to threaten sanctions?

Diplomacy in Obama’s world consists of apologizing for the greatness and power of the United States, betraying her friends and allies and congratulating her enemies for NOT being the corrupt US. This sort of “diplomacy is an OBVIOUS failure…unless, of course, the intent is to sell-out one’s own country!

Iran’s response will go something like this…

Heavens No! Not the “Sanctions…” Of course, we’ll stop our nuclear programs…

And, naturally, Russia and China will say, ” WHAT THE?! A SECOND nuclear facility?! Well, that makes all the difference in the world! Iran you bad boy. Stop that immediately”.

There are times when I wish my life operated like that awful movie “Click” and I could just FFW to when Iran has their first above ground nuclear test and skip all this fake BS.

As long as we keep dancing to the Iranian tune, of endless negotiations, America will wake up to Iranians successful nuclear test.

Politicians will wail and moan in dismay, and there will be fingers pointed. But the decision has been made. America will allow an Iranian bomb. And if Israel gets hit… it gets hit. More counterfeit outrage, and Washington moves on. The pageantry of negotiation, and sanctions, is just PR.

Shame on our leaders. Shame on them….
