wow… the fact that you looked up ‘tax’ in the dictionary shows that its a stretch… really obama? Its seriously like watching a snake oil salesman. If you talk more, louder, and shroud your words in lots of analogies and straw man arguments, you win by default. I love how he keeps trying to equate it to car insurance. I hate to use this terminology with people, but he is an idiot.
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again. Obama is exposing our agenda way too soon.

Stephanopolous is no saint, to put it lightly. If he’s looking to hedge his bets, to salvage his credibility for later, by pressing O just a little bit, it is due to a cold calculation on his part that maybe this Democrat regime is not the gravy train that he thought it was.
This was not a tough interview though really, not at all. The problem for O is that he can’t handle anything but a completely prearranged and scripted pretend interview without beclowning himself.
Now that I think of it – the rest of the Democrat leadership sound pretty damned stupid too. Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank etc…. Yet they get re-elected. Why?
@Wm T Sherman: why? I heard 1 out of approximately 4 people believe that 9/11 was an inside job or believe the government had something to do with it. To me, that answers a lot of the ‘why’ questions.

Ann Coulter was on a cable news channel whose name is feared throughout the West Wing at the White House.
She makes the point that Dems are going to force us all to buy insurance but not do anything to make it more affordable such as tort reform or increase competition by permitting insurance firms to compete across state lines.
This is just another trillion dollar payoff to Obama’s friends in the insurance industry and trial lawyers.
According to Dick Morris the CBO has come out with an estimate we can wrap our heads around. One that brings it home so to speak:
Individuals earning 40,000 per year will pay ObamaCare $5500.00.
A family of 4 earning 80,000 per year will pay Obamacare $20,000.00.
Each and every year.
No final bill yet but I don’t believe what is on the table will get enough support to pass. Mandatory participation, Tax or Fines, insufficient Medical Personnel to work the trenches and no additional assets or resources available to furnish care for the 30 or 45 million additional patient load.
Cuts for MEDICARE are irresponsible and unacceptable to the American public. Period.
Has anyone seen the prices of airline tickets?

I have never seen ANY politician lie so freely and easily. Even with Nixon, you could see sweat, and with Carter, the eye-batting. Clinton got loudly defensive, and would start with the finger-wag, but THIS guy is surely pathological in his lies…He believes them, even is the proof of his lie is shown right to his face.
This is a man who lied about his own daughter having meningitis. There IS no lower-limit in what he willing to lie to us about.
Some of us knew this two years ago. Others continue to live in denial, refusing even to admit that he lied to them concerning their favored issues.
ACORN Air would only allow union members, illegals, and under age girls who will be used as prostitutes to be passengers.
The Baucus bill in fact calls it an “excise TAX’, and also specifies payments by “tax units” between 100%-300% of the fed poverty level. Folks, the fpl is not over $250K. ObiWon speak with forked tongue and teabags those who worship him thinking they won’t be paying taxes for this.
Old Trooper above is right, but the rationing changes to be done by the new federal regional review boards do not apply just to Medicare, but to all providers who use the Medicare diagnosis/treatment codes changed by the regional boards. ObiWon lies when he says the board wording in the House and Baucus bills is not a British NHS NICE review board with powers identical to the NICE boards (the “death panel” is a reference to the slang name of the NICE boards).
Obiwon also BS’s when he says abortion will not be included when the wording of the proposed laws gaurantees that the regional review board will include abortion on demand in the diagnosis/treatment codes which, in the real world, decide the doctors protocol of treatment.
At least ole’ George asked the question. Did the word “tax” even come up in any of the other interviews? I don’t know cause I refuse to listen to him pander to himself.
