@Patvann: Thanks for your encouragement. I gave up a few “friends” as a result of my “come to Jesus moment”! One, a 40 year correspondent, turned out to be one of the most hateful when I refused to go along with Obama and after he accused me of racism, I have not been in touch. No loss there. Several others, 20 year “friends”, I just gave a wide berth. We talk now but not about politics…each, I suppose hoping the other will see the light! LOL. I keep thinking with every disclosure, I’ll hear that they finally woke up. So far…No. Here’s to new friends and fresh ideas.

@Patvann: Yes. It was quite amazing as many (myself included) had been convinced that Hillary was too polarizing a figure to carry the election. I am embarrassed to admit now that I voted for Edwards in the CA primary due to that. I see though, since Edwards and his wife (no respect left for her either), knew his scandal was bound to hit the news that he was simply there to siphon off votes from Hillary. Even so, when she won the CA primary, her momentum built and the polarizing argument went out the window.

Along with the corruption of the Dims, we also saw how we had been bamboozled by the so-called “progressive” men of the party for all these years. Their hatred of women who dared to disagree and stand up to the Left, was horrifying. The brain-washed Leftist youth and their disrespect toward the older generation was a huge wake-up call, bringing home as nothing else possibly could, the future of our grandchildren. We will change this.

Last weekend at the Monterey Tea Party, there were only a few middle fingers (“The Rahm Emanuel Howdy” as my fellow flag wavers call it) from passing cars…unlike the really ugly confrontations we had at the final get-out-the-vote demonstration before the election. Most were honking in support, thumbs up. Also we had triple the number of people showing up this time with signs and flags…it felt like a shift had begun.

I was under the impression that Hilly would have won most of those Caucus States, had the intimidation and other sneaky tactics by Acorn and the Union thugs not occurred, thus giving Hilly the delegates to win.

@Patvann: Yes, I believe Texas was the biggest but there were other caucuses involved too. I don’t think Hillary won any caucus. Strange, since she won most other states having regular primaries. Had he not won caucus states, I don’t think the DNC would have been so emboldened to hand him the nomination at the Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting; giving him delegates he hadn’t won (because he hadn’t put his name in the ballot).

I suppose the positive is that it ripped the veil from the corruption of the Dimocrat party, sending many life long Democrats to re-register as Independents voting for McCain (mostly because of Palin). The video testimonies of the women who had witnessed the voter intimidation of ACORN at the caucuses had already hit the web by that time…the reason there was so much outrage at the R&B meeting.

I had a similar political awakening as David Horowitz…though I came late to the same realizations and without associations with the Black Panthers. By the time of the debacle of the R&B committee, I was more Blue Dog than Yellow. I look forward to ACORN being shut down altogether. And, yes, my respect for HRC vanished when she supported the fraud.

I suppose it’s helpful to pause long enough for denials, promises to investigate and protests of shock and horror that these few renegades have dishonored the good name of ACORN before discrediting them with yet another damning tape.

I’m waiting to see if the ladies who filmed the caucus fraud and intimidation carried out by Obama’s $800,000 contract with ACORN during the Dim primary will come forth; that was the first step, after all, in putting him into the WH. From my POV, there were no good candidates in the last election but for sure, he was the worst.
