I believe that political contributions should only be allowed to be made by American Citizens of eligible age to vote. Not PACs, not special interest groups, not corporations and that it should be considered treason to take political contributions from foreign interests of any kind.

(Our Republic also ought to go back to having the US Senators appointed by the State legislatures to also balance that federal power by enhancing what is good for the State and not popularly elected Senators- okay, so that is a bit off topic). No foreign donations ought to be allowed - and it still galls me that the FEC didn't seem to try to audit obama's donations in that light. The election was quite the travesty in that regard. obama made hillary's (and bill's) election funding shenanigans look like child's play.
