btw, although the MSM are touting this as his first vacation, I do believe he has taken some time off prior to this. This isn’t the first visit to Martha’s Vineyard is it? And then there was Hawaii. Grand Canyon? Montana, fly fishing? He’s either going somewhere or he’s on the tube with TOTUS. I’m thrilled to have him off the big screen for a week…if only. I’m sure he’ll find a way to be in our face again all too soon.

This is what I see when I look at these pictures — an older daughter who resembles her dad and seems to be dad’s favorite, and a younger daughter who resembles her mom and seems to be in need of some fatherly attention. The “Us” cover and the “Life & Style” cover are particularly good examples of this.

I noticed that on the US cover and wondered why the magazine opted for that shot. With the number of photos they take in a shoot, they certainly would have plenty that would have shown a happier little girl. Then again, maybe she wasn’t feeling good that day and wasn’t cooperating.

Good point. Maybe this was representative of what the photographer captured that day — one girl with a noticeably close father/daughter bond and the other girl on the outside looking wistfully in. I’ve noticed this in their family photos/appearances before. It’ll be interesting to see what future shots look like.

When he went to Montana, he was in a place surrounded by his worshippers. Belgrade/Bozeman in Gallatin County does not have many natives left. And yet Palin has no trouble involving her kids in her politics…particularly when she wrote about Obama’s death panels deciding the fate of Trig.
However I don’t think Obama does himself any credit by having his 2 children in posed photoshoots. Credit to Bush for keeping his daughters away from the limelight.

He didn’t mean it about Ms. Palin’s children anymore than he meant he would have a transparent presidency, would post all bills online for a minimum of 5 days, that no one making under $250,000 would experience ANY KIND of a tax increase, (cigarette tax, alcohol, capitacl gains, etc. soon showed up) and he would SAVE the country from BIG, BAD, BUSH, and everyone would live happily ever after. He was blowing smoke at everyone. I feel for you if you believed any of it. He wouldn’t know the truth if it walked up and introduced itself to him.
Obama was relishing the fact that the MSM was attacking Ms. Palin and her children. It took the heat off of his lies and broken promises.
When Ms. Palin was referring to her son and the “death panels”, I would too if it were my child. She was naturally worried about what the MESSIAH was planning. AND, what his right-hand death panel himself (Ezekial Emanual who stated: Most doctors take the Hippocratic oath way too seriously). What I don’t understand about the lying administration is they boldly stated there was nothing about end-of-life counseling in the bill, and after Ms. Palin attacked it, they then stated they took if out of the bill. If it wasn’t in, how could they take it out? I have never been able to figure out how to take something out that isn’t there. Maybe because I am not an educated person, some people have the idea I can’t think for myself. I am not school educated, but I have something a lot of people in the current administration don’t have: COMMON SENSE!

By all mean criticise the big bad MSM for attacking Palin’s kids.
By all means criticise the aforementioned MSM for being too soft on Obama.
But those who link Obama & the MSM as somehow being the same – and use the calculation that Obama & MSM are friends, Obama demands privacy and yet the MSM attacks Palin’s kids – therefore Obama must be attacking Palin’s kids and therefore is a hypocrite – is lame beyond belief which shows stupidity and amazing lack of logic.
