Agreed, 100%. Now someone has to get a case before SCOTUS saying the whole deal usurped the 5th Amendment. It’s the only way to keep them from doing it again. Because it is going to happen again if someone doesn’t stop it.

Sadly, there won’t be much left of the dealer network by the time SCOTUS sees the case.

I heard on the radio earlier that Chrysler dealers were selling cars at $8K – $10K below invoice up until midnight last night in an effort to clear the inventory.

As of 12:01am those dealers could no longer sell those cars to customers (even though they own them) and the only way to clear the remaining inventory will be through other Chrysler dealers.

This whole thing stinks.

I never imagined America would come to this point.

Ruthie lifted the stay and the sale is going through. I read on SCOTUSblog that the ruling is not on the merits of the case, but only on the delay of the sale. Hopefully, the whole case will make it to the court eventually.

Thanks Mata, I’ve been waiting for this one too. Obama is supposed to be a constitutional law professor. I’m anxious to see what he does is SCOTUS rules against him. That is what will be interesting.

I’m hoping the SCOTUS blows up the FIAT deal. I’d be willing to bet that liquidation will be the least cost option in the long run for taxpayers, despite significant costs in the near term. Go bondholders!

When is Steny Hoyer going to take out Pelosi already. Everyone on the Hill knows how much they despise each other. The Caucus chose Hoyer over her own pick Murtha. Hoyer is also pro-Israel and reportedly unhappy with the Obama-Clinton hardline on Netanyahu.

I thought Hoyer would make his move when Pelosi called the CIA liars and Panetta slapped her down. Pelosi is hanging by a thread. Make your move, Steny!
