This may be somewhat off topic, and maybe there is more behind the scenes going on that can’t be openly discussed, but is Obama doing ANTHING between his Broadway shows and Paris family vacation to keep our two American Journalists (even if they do work for Al Gore, this HAS to be above all politics), out of the North Korean Gulags (labor camps)?

I doubt most Americans have a clue as to what these two American women (one a mother of small child), face.

Grandsons are condemned to life-long terms as slave laborers alongside their grandfathers, both equally helpless in the brutal surroundings. Prisoners are arbitrarily murdered by security guards. Women suffer from forced abortions at the hands of unlicensed doctors. Newborn babies are beaten to death. And sons and daughters are publicly executed in front of their mothers.

    […]

Another characteristic of this oppressive policy is that those arrested are not detained, charged or tried in any sort of judicial procedure. The victim, along with his immediate family, is shipped off in the early hours of the morning to an interrogation facility. He is only permitted to bring the clothes on his back. The presumed offender is then tortured in order to make him “confess” before being sent to the political penal-labor colony. On arrival at the camp, the victim is issued a pick and shovel, simple cooking utensils and a used army blanket. All contact with the outside world is blocked: he is now a non-person; no question will be asked about him by friends or relatives.

Shortly after arriving at the gulag, it becomes immediately apparent that the most salient feature of everyday life is the combination of below-subsistence-level food rations and extremely demanding labor quotas.
Prisoners are provided just enough food to be kept perpetually on the verge of starvation. They are compelled by their hunger to eat, if they can get away with it, the food of the labor-camp farm animals, as well as plants, grasses, bark, rats, snakes and anything remotely edible

If only we had a responsible and ethical news media: Obama’s ratings wouldn’t even be on the radar screen.

More to the point, is Obama doing ANYTHING at all between his date nights at taxpayer expense and appearances in front of his teleprompter? Oh, well – besides meeting secretly with the Muslim Brotherhood right here in DC…….. (aren’t they outlawed here in the US?)

The main thing is to highlight their differences and point out the failures of his policies on the merits of the issues.

They need to give the voters a clear choice, not a me too run for the center with the policy positions so close that they could exchange white papers and nobody would notice.

44 million unregistered voting age people out there. Time to get it in gear and recruit the sleeping giant. The dems have already milked every last voter that they can find into their camp.

We need to put the effort out to get it done.

Given the lead up to his Cairo gambit and the press reports from Israel after, I’d say …
    he lost the Jewish vote

When Obama gets back to DC, there are going to be a lot of unhappy nervous Congressional Democrats.
Not since Reagan has the Jewish vote gone for Republicans in a big way.

“*While Obama remains popular personally, ….” That is something I simply do not understand, Obama injects himself into every issue, he is always talking about himself, its always I, me, my, he is like a spoiled kid jumping up and down screaming for attention or like a tune played on a one string fiddle, grates on yer nerves real quick.

Yea, ive noticed Obama believes the sheer weight of his personality can fix anything. Like, he could sit with Hitler and convince him to love jewish ppl. I believe their are terms for that… delusions of grandeur being one.
