I have thought all along that they assuaged their white liberal guilt by voting for Zero. It allowed them to feel so very, very good about themselves. You can hear this quite clearly when the 0bots come out to defend him. So self-righteous, sanctimonious and, well, just plain good and so very correct. Never question their moral authority while they’re spewing hatred.

Truly, I’ll wear out the mute button if Stuart Smalley (aka Al Franken) manages to worm his way into the senate with all those ballots he found in car trunks after the initial vote was counted and weird absentee ballots. Every time I hear that nasal whine of his, I want to throw-up.

As for the left in general, the reason for their hate is that they are a movement based on punishment of their opponents. It’s not enough for them to take power and put their policies into place; they must actively destroy their enemies.

So that for example it’s not enough for them to lift the poor up, but the wealthy must have their money taken away from them. They don’t want to just clean up the environment, greedy Americans must be forced to accept a lower standard of living. Changing our foreign policy is not enough, Obama must actively apologize for the United States at every opportunity and is allowing prosecution of Bush Administration officials who offered advice in good faith.

Well, I will not dispute that lefties are filled with hate, but I think y’all are forgetting a few things. Whether they fell “betrayed” by Obama or not, he is pretty far down the list of people they are going to blame for their frustration. Keep in mind that most of the hatred they are filled with is self hatred. They are already adept at (or mentally ill enough to be) transferring this onto others so as not to have to confront it. Secondly, they have enormous emotional investment in Obama because, in essence, he has promised to make them feel good about themselves. They don’t make decisions based on logic or “thinking”, they operate on feelings. Thirdly, they have already been trained to hate conservatives. Mainly because we do not hate ourselves. Yes, this was concentrated on Bush. But as his effectiveness as a target decreases, they are not going to suddenly open their eyes and realize that they themselves are the cause of their anger, and they are not going to suddenly turn on their messiah because that would involve them admitting (to themselves) why they bought his line of BS.

I agree that a certain element of “the angry left” will come to despise Obama. But if you think that it will be a groundswell, majority thing, then you are giving them too much credit for thinking logically (or at all) instead of “Feeling”. PDill has it mostly right, except they will never “run out of the Ms. USA’s to target”, because each and every one of us who doesn’t agree with them is a potential target. As Obama’s failure to live up to his promises becomes more and more obvious, they are going to become angrier and more desperate. As this becomes more dangerous for Obama and his crew, the Whitehouse and their lapdogs in the media are going to become more and more shrill and blatant about pointing the finger at us.

I don’t doubt that the Obama house of cards will collapse. I just think that we have a hellacious spitstorm of hatred to weather before that happens. While it would be nice if the lefties awoke from the spell sooner rather than later, I am concerned that we ain’t seen nothing yet when it comes to anger and hatred directed at all of us.

Scott the left hate is within themselves; their own inner conflicts. Hate like that always needs a target; i.e., George W Bush for the past 8 years. As it gets harder to blame Bush, and now that they have full power, good targets are hard to find! Too bad for Ms. USA, who just happened to fill the void.

And when they run out of the Ms. USA’s to target, that hate still has to get projected somewhere. The only place let will be upon each other. It’s much of the reason godless nations never survive; eventually, they simply self destruct.
