NKorea threatens nuclear, missile tests

Obama’s 100th Day

How’s that foreign policy workin’ out?

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) – North Korea threatened Wednesday to conduct nuclear and missile tests and start an uranium-enrichment program in addition to its existing plutonium-based one, unless the U.N. apologizes for criticizing its recent rocket launch, dramatically raising its stake in the worsening standoff over its atomic programs.

Pyongyang’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement the country “will be compelled to take additional self-defensive measures” unless the U.N. Security Council apologizes immediately. “The measures will include nuclear tests and test-firings of intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Call me crazy, but it appears that President Obama’s rhetoric didn’t stop the last missile test. So…why would he be able to do the same exact thing and get different results?

One Response to NKorea threatens nuclear, missile tests

I swear, this guy is a joke. 100 days in the office, and it’s doubtless that more than half the world hates us – the countries that matter, anyway. I know we, as conservative Republicans, are harsher on Obama than the rest of the country, but can you really blame us? We’re the ones who don’t ignore the truth. We’re the ones really paying attention while the rest just willingly bend over and take it. If the first 100 days in office are really telling of what the rest of the term will be like, then I say it’s time to build up nuclear bomb shelters and prepare for the worst, because the US is screwed.
