Well Missy, I admit I listen to Limbaugh too, not everyday, but pretty often. He is entertaining, Most Liberals hate him and get upset hearing him, I look at him as a Carnival Barker who has just enough good points to make to be somewhat redeeming. He’s a media figure, not a political leader.

Sometimes I wonder about some of his over the top rants in the past, and all the Oxycontin that was floating thru his brain, and think, well, that explains that.

My point about the Jindal speech and Rush was and is that not one prominent Republican leader said a bad word about Jindal after Rush laid the law down. Even Fox News stopped covering the story. The truth is that no Republican from a district where Rush is popular can afford to have Rush tearing him down on air, and his loyal band of Ditto Heads emailing and calling said Republicans office in anger. This could cause a primary challenge, and these politicians, Rep or Dem, ain’t stupid. Rush knows how and has the power to get them to Shut Up, and get back in line.

They end up telling Rush they are sorry, and Rush has made many a Republican who speaks his mind and strays from the Conservative fold do exactly that. I still maintain that Rush can and does get folks to Shut Up.

Thanks for giving me the heads up on your all discussions about the Jindal speech, and I respect the fact that you all have different views here. For all the talk about Liberal Sock Puppets, and the AM radio Republican party marching in lock step with their respective leaders, it gives a guy some, dare I say….hope? lol

Using Limbaugh’s quote to support your idea that all conservatives are lockstep in thought following his every command is utter nonsense. You see, we can listen to him, agree or disagree yet still learn and be entertained in the process. Facts are on his side for the most part, his opinion of the facts is where conservatives will and do differ from him from time to time. He knows that, we know that, apparently you don’t. He didn’t want to hear it or deal with it anymore, and he did not assign an inflammatory name to those callers with opposing opinions.

Remember Dubai Ports? Limbaugh and Hannity had opposing views, oh, what to do, what to do?

BTW, the same thing happened in here regarding Jindal, we are still here commenting even though our views of that speech were not the same. Curt, Mata, Mike, Scott, Word, Skye, Aye, none of them called anyone who disagreed a “racist”(see video).

I don’t know when Andrew Klavin of Pajamas posted this video, but it sounds very much just like a Rush Limbaugh rant I heard from him last year. If I recall correctly, it was about all the fuss over the Phoney Soldiers comment.

We all know that when Rush speaks, the Republicans fall in line and do the Ditto.

He said this after the widely panned Jindal speech: “those of you who think Jindal was horrible, you think — in fact, I don’t ever want to hear from you ever again.”

Mr. Klavin has little to fear, both sides are trying to get the other to shut up, and even though Limbaugh got Conservatives to do it, in general, nobody is really going to shut up at all.
