Well if the Dems want the prisoners out of Gitmo so badly, and all the states say, “Not In My Backyard,” the only logical thing to do is build a super-duper-max prison in Washington DC and move all those terrorists in Congress & Obama’s back yard.

You need to remember that there are alot of innocent prisoners in gitmo. These people should be treated like any other Human Being and be given a fair trial or released. We are America and we are mighty, I doubt a couple of guys isolated from their cells for so many years can pose a serious threat to a Leviathan like the United States of America.

Perhaps you’d like to give us some specific names of those “innocents” in Gitmo, other than those 60-80 that are are free to go… IF any nation wanted them. Guess those nations aren’t as sure of their “innocence” as you are, Mystery Shopper Jobs.

The rest? Obama’s the one holding them sans any due process rights since he put a halt to what tribunals and reviews that were in place… just as the sundry ACLU type lawsuits that have thwarted due process for years.

They need to select a site to replace Gitmo knowing in advance that it will be labeled a “torture site”

May I suggest a back lot at Disneyland .. saying
confining prisoners to Disneyland is “torture”
will have a certain level of disbelief attached.

I fully expect the prisoners to be sent back to Afghanistan, where they can be conveniently allowed to escape. If they “chip ‘em up” (or make believe they did) with tracking devices, then let Diane Feinstein tell the NYT, they will all be executed by their Taliban brethren rendered harmless in short order.

The only other alternative is to rename “Gitmo” to “Spandau”
