Former President Bush’s Not So Gracious Transitioning of Executive Power

Mike’s America keeps talking about the graciousness and class of Former President Bush through the whole process of transitioning power over to the new President.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

What a lowlife, juvenile act of partisan pettiness on the part of the former president; not even Jimmy Carter has stooped so low:

  4. You know, we may laugh at this, but I believe I distinctly discerned a non-verbal sigh of relief in his speech back in Texas, and a greater jaunt in his steps. I think he himself is glad it’s over, that he can turn the reins over.

I’m sure it’s just me, but I couldn’t help but see the above picture and then think….”Wizard of Oz”.

i would have laughed my ass off if he really had put the kick me sign on him, that would have been better than the missing “w” keys. i think he will be sleeping in and enjoying some peace and quiet, i know i would. i am sick of listening to how fab the new first family is. i believe that all haat glitters is not gold, it will wear off and that will be a great thing to see.

  7. I was able to hear the speech he gave at his homecoming and heaven he sounded SO happy and relaxed :) He and Mrs. Bush were welcomed home with open arms; we all know he truly deserves to move on with his life after giving us so much of himself.

PS – Wordsmith those are great ‘toons, gave me a much needed laugh today!

Actually, that is right in the realm of Bush’s sense of humor. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he had done it.

  11. I kept waiting for him to salute the Dems with his middle finger! It was so deserved, but he was way too classy to do it!
