Seems that renditioning was not really an evil Bush-Cheney-Rove creation after all. Of course, those of us who have been paying attention already knew that.

This gives GOP senators on the Intelligence Committee a gleeful opportunity to go after the lame and dangerous Panetta nomination while setting the record straight on reditioning.

Our GOP Senators might actually have to show up at the hearings and ask the question. Thus far they’be been mostly AWOL at these hearings even though there is a gold mine of information embarrasing to Obama’s nominees.

They barely laid a glove on Hillary Clinton and the big news to come out of the Eric Holder nomination for Attorney General is that he “learned” from his mistakes in the Marc Rich pardon.

You may recall that 4 years ago Dems held up the confirmation of Sec. of State Rice until after Inauguration Day just to deny her the honor of sitting on the Inaugural platform as Sec. State. They insisted they had important questions regarding Bush policies that needed to be asked.

Now, our side seems hell bent on projecting their own version of the “new tone” where once again we simply don’t fire back at the same people who have and will abuse us in every way possible.

There’s no question in my mind that they will do exactly the same things or worse, but they will be done in secret. No one will find out for another 100 years. … If we’re still an intact nation then…

They are already showing clear indications that they consider themselves above the law…
