It’s very odd that PEBO, a former Senator, would not do a better job of consulting a key Chairman, let alone make a courtesy call.

Of course Obama didn’t really spend any time in the Senate as he was out fundraising for several years so maybe he forgot how touchy Senators can be about these things.

But you would think that after years of complaining about how Bush did his job the Dems would try harder.

Guess not.

P.S. Don’t forget we still have Maverick McCain…. No shortage of mavericks in the Senate!
