Yes, this was a “shoe in” award. Altho I frankly believe if they wanted to honor the historic 2008 election and a sign of the times, it should have gone to Hillary. Her performance was no less historic than Obama’s, and he has yet to prove himself.

Your question is biased, like all democrat’s questions. Every ones follows the leader, the POTUS has everyone following him, what he says goes. This is the way it works. Your biased questions should have been: If no one agrees with their leader, is he a leader? YES he is still their leader. Hitler had both: they followed him and agreed with him. And where did that get them?
Who cares if the Dems do not agree with Bush? They are idiots anyway. The only thing that matters is that people obey him and that he wins the war like he did in Iraq. History will give him the respect that those idiot Dems refused him.

Actually, this is the second time Time has given him this “honor”. He was also Man of the Year in 2006 – along with everyone else on the planet at the time.

Well he DID admit he has inhaled. If it is a “ciggie” it is a filter-less one. However, if it’s a “fattie” looks like it was rolled by quite the expert. He is holding it in a way more typical for pot smokers (between index finger and thumb) rather than how most smokers hold cigarettes ((between first and second digit), and he does have “Chinese eyes” (no offense intended Sigmund, that’s an old slang term from the Cheech & Chong era). Tried to find some other larger versions of the photos from the roll to get a closer look at what he was smoking, but found these instead which are a hoot (Perhaps someone can embed them for me-I still haven’t figured out how to do that with pics & vids here yet):
