I hope the IRS is listening to and reading all of this. The 501c tax exempt provision for non-profit/charity organizations has became a criminals toy to collect billions for themselves. Time to put it back to what it was designed for, If you serve the public (volunteers) you qualify, if you serve yourself (paid) you don’t qualify. Nothing else need enter the picture. All political organization should be dumped out of the 501c program today.

First off, adviser B doesn’t say Obama wants to avoid fingerprints off things. He says that from the point of view of someone who was president-elect, you’d want to avoid fingerprints. I.e., he’s stating common-sense — if anyone chose to take you up on this scheme, they’d want to avoid footprints. There is nothing in that paragraph that suggests that adviser B knows what Obama wants, except in the sense that you or I or anyone would assume that if someone chose to be crooked, they’d probably choose to be discreet. Blags is a different beast, of course. He doesn’t know discretion from his d**k.

Second off, if you can’t figure out that the President-elect’s adviser who has a vested interest in the 5th CD is Rahm, the former Congressman from the 5th CD, you shouldn’t even bother with this shit.

Third, it’s widely acknowledged that SEIU official is not Stern. It’s a lower level guy who worked with Jarrett. That guy, and I’ll let you find his name yourself, acknowledged his role and is in Chicago to talk to the Feds.

Fourth, Candidate 6 isn’t Blair Hull, who doesn’t have $15 million to set up a 501c4 for Blags, if he’s got to defend his seat in a campaign that will start in a year, with his own money since no one will give him any. Candidate 6 is JB Pritzker, who gives $15 million to his dry cleaner each morning to make shirts are starched properly.

Your insinuations are almost all completely wrong. It’s clear that Jarrett genuinely withdrew. She accepted a post at the White House on 11/15. And then they never offered anything on behalf of anyone.

There is no shred of evidence here of communication coming FROM anyone on the Obama side interested in Blags’ offerings. The closest you get is the mid-level SEIU guy saying he’ll “run the flag up”. He says he’ll take the offer back.

The Trib’s situation is much dicier. There, you have evidence that Trib Financial Adviser not only took the offer to Zell, he then came back and agreed to the deal.

That’s why Zell has already been called in. That’s why the Tribune Co. has had its papers subpoenaed.

Now it’s possible that Harris was BSing Blags. It’s also possible that Trib Financial Adviser was BSing Harris, in hopes that he could stall till the Wrigley deal would get done – though this seems much more unlikely. My guess is that the Trib fucked up. And then lucked out when Blags rushed the complaint out.

Why did he rush the complaint? That’s the real question. It doesn’t look like the Senate seat could be given away before the Feds could make an emergency arrest. Blags would have spoken about it to a bunch of people, scheduled major press availability, etc., so they’d have plenty of warning even if he didn’t talk about it on the wire.

This is the question that I think needs analysis. You’re trying to pin this on Obama, instead of looking at more likely subjects. I’m not saying Obama was unaware that some dealing might be going on. But I’d look instead for someone who might have had some power, potentially over Fitz, and who had a reason right out in plain sight to fear Fitz. You’d need 17 lines to connect the dots to Obama, and your analysis is falling apart. Instead, there’s someone who you only need two lines to connect — x to y to Fitz. Who is that?

3rd parties? Sounds like the result of years of practicing the art of corruption. It allows you to say neither you or your representatives were in contact with the corrupt.
