(Our Mom & new Stepdad drove down for Thanksgiving, she's getting up there, yet refused to let me do it alone, but needs all the help she could get for big meals following her stroke). Then there was the matter of clean-up, a post dinner nap, a wake-up, left overs, etceteras. Still as stuffed today as ol' Tom was yesterday. I'm thankful for my family, friends, and health (such as they all are LOL) and that I did nothing to regret this year (Such as helping to put more socialist scum in positions of power). Now to start hunting for deals on Ebay, to fill my Christmas shopping list for some of our youngest family members, while still remaining within my military retirement check budget, pay the usual bills, & leave enough for my cross-country trip home. Been asked by my youngest niece if I would "Play Santa' this year, 'cause I already have the long hair, beard, glasses", & big belly, so I'll have to squeeze a used suit in there somewhere, LOL. Still it's for the kids, so gotta' try to make it all happen. Best wishes to all of you for the rest of the holidays.
