When Karl Rove was in the White House he had a competition with Bush to see who could read the most books in a year.

According to Robert Draper in Dead Certain, not a pro-Bush propaganda book by any stretch of the imagination, he was up to 87 books for that year; but I have no idea at what point in the year Draper received that information. Even if his interview was on December 31st with Bush when that figure was given, it’s an impressive number.

– First, there is the arrogance of a mere 47-year old writing not one but two biographies. Most politicians who write books talk about their actual political experiences or accomplishments. Obama wrote two self-absorbed books about his efforts to “find himself” or some such nonsense. Second, both books are full of self-aggrandizing statements that it is really difficult to come away from reading them to say “yes, now I really know who Barak Obama really is”.

An earlier poster wrote about what the Obamabot internet posters would do with their time now that the election is over. I guess we know — you will be continuing to amuse us with your bilge.
