Glad you liked it jobeth. It’s good that your region still recognizes that advertizing your support for a certain candidate falls under our “free speech” rights under our Constitution. I still caution others to consider local laws before following suit.

I know my posts can sometimes get a bit long, but it’s hard for me to govern myself when I get on topics of which I am passionate.

Another thing small businesses should consider is not only will Obama try everything possible to reduce your profits and abilities to financially care for your loved ones, but remember he is a Chicago politicion. Once his thugocracy is in power (should he win), don’t be surprised when his armies of Public Allies youth strongarm gangs start showing up at your business demanding protection money.

After all, that too is one of the “Chicago ways and means”.

Now as to my wearing my McCain/Palin Tee Shirt to the polls. I am going to do it! I have always been one to stand my ground when I know I am right. And I know I am right here.

I also have a “NOBAMA” sticker on my car and McCain/Palin stickers on there as well. I understand those who don’t want their cars and property vandalized but you know, if we capitulate to their threats and their intimidation we are giving them power over us. They succeed in shuting us up.

Look at what they are trying to do to “Joe the Plumber”. This is meant to be a lesson to all of us who just want to live peaceful lives. ” Keep quiet and you can live peacefully. Comment and we will make you wish you hadn’t opened your mouth?”

This type of thing is only going to get worse (look at recent history) if we don’t stand up to these thugs.

This Tee shirt thing is a tiny, small issue but this issue as a principal is like a snowball if we let it go.

Did we EVER think we would be THIS close to socialism or communisim? I mean look who is nearly in the office of the President of the United States Of America! The world’s last real hope for any kind of value based society in this world is about to be severly compromised..

Look at the blatant attack methods the left are using! This is exactly how they behave AFTER they get a stronghold with our children and the “gimme” crowd.

Sorry I don’t mean to get carried away. It’s just for the first time in my life…and I am not young anymore…have become afraid for what my children and grandchildren are facing.
I fear Obama is only the beginning if we are not very careful.

As to the Tee shirt, I found the rules here in Florida allow for me to wear my shirt. I have printed the rules from the web site just in case I am challanged at the door. As to being verbally or phyically attacked…well, come what may. I still have onions! (((grin))).

I would recommend not wearing your McCain-Palin T-Shirt to the polls for 2 very valid reasons:

1) Political advertizements are banned in most polling places because they might cause disruptions, unfairly influence voters, or in the case of polling workers, implies that they might be biased or be the real real reason an unqualified voter is forced to sumbit a provisional ballot. Hence you might be turned away and prevented from casting your vote. This is one of those things that the Democrats consider as Republican effort to disenfranchise voters. They think it’s okay for their people to do it, but get outraged if Republicans do the same. I you wear it bring a jacket to wear over it. With rampant and proven voter fraud McCain-Palin will need every vote.

2) We saw how dangerous left protesters can be during the conventions, they will be particularly randy on edge Election day. If they see you wearing a McCain-Palin shirt to the polls, you may be risk being harassed, assaulted, perhaps battered, or they may choose to vandalize your vehicle.

AFL-CIO’s Richard Trumka’s line follows the idiotic, “doesn’t follow logic” of standard Democratic rhetoric;

“There are no good reasons for union members not to vote for Obama and only one bad reason…Racism.”

But lets extrapolate out that very same logic, let me know if I missed something:

1) Sarah & Todd Palin have been union members since their teens. So if you don’t vote for McCain-Palin, you are anti-Union.”
2) Sarah and Todd are also small business owners, so if you don’t vote for McCain-Palin, you are anti small business.
3) The Palins have a Downs Syndrome child and they don’t believe in abortion. Obama supports ALL abortions and killing infants, even during the birthing process. If he had his say, Palin would have been forced by the government to abort Trig because he had the potential to become a burden on our healthcare system. So if you don’t vote for Palin, you hate babies and support euthenasia for anyone who is physically incapable of assuming their role in Obama’s “master race.” The sick, the infirm, the elderly…
4) McCain is a military veteran and former POW. So if you don’t vote for Obama, you support our troops and veterans and the efforts of Amnesty International.
5) McCain is over 65 years old, so if you don’t support him, you hate senior citizens.
6) Sarah is a female. Obama refuses to denounce supporters who wear, “Sarah is a C^nt” T-shirts at his rallies. This term is as hated by women and as inflamatory to them, as the “N” word is to Blacks. So if you don’t vote for Palin, you are sexist.
7) In the 1990′s Obama was, as was Hillary Clinton before, a member of the Democratic Socialists Of America Party, his cousin Odingo in Kenya was also a socialist candidate for that presidency and Odingo’s supporters have been committing genocide against those who did not support his election, so if you don’t vote for Obama, you are anti-socialist/anti-genocide.
Obama has friends and associates (Ayers & Dorne) that once committed terrorist acts, so if you don’t vote vote Obama, you are anti-terrorist.
9) Obama is a financial supporter and political benificiary of an organization (Acorn) that currently is and has been in the past, engaged in voter registation and voter fraud activities. After handing over payola he encouraged them to get out the vote. The supposedly non-partisan Acorn workers not only got out the vote, they instructed people to vote Obama. So if you don’t vote for Obama, you are anti-fraud.
10) Obama wants more taxes, spending, more entitlements, and big government, which as someone mentioned the Gallup poll shows, nobody wants except for hard-core Democrats. If you don’t vote for him you are against big-government controlling every aspect of our lives.
11) Obama’s campaign supporters are now going after Joe the Plumber because his comments made him look bad during the debate, So if you don’t vote for Obama, you are for small business and against censorship of and attacks on those who don’t agree with you.
12) McCain has a history of frequently crossing party lines. Obama almost always (97%) votes the party line (when he is brave enough to vote at all), If you don’t vote for Obama, you are against unyeilding partisanship.
13) I’ve read Michelle Obama’s college thesis where she annonomously polled over 400 Blacks at her college. The results FAILed to support her theory that racism was still rampant in our universities. If it is your strong belief that a certain segment of society is rascist, then you ask others of your own race in confidentially if in their opinion, the other race is being racist, and they say, “No.”, who then IS the real racist? She is. Barry married her despite of this, so if you vote for Obama, by Trumka’s own logic, you are racist.
14) Obama and Michelle accepted a shady real estate deal arranged by Rezko, so if you don’t vote for Obama, you are anti-corruption.
15) Obama went behind America’s Commander in Chief’s back and suggested Iraqi officials and our own generals ignore the President’s plans on Iraq and stall on troop withdrawls until after the next president is sworn in. If you don’t vote for Obama, you are against acts of treason for personal political gain.
16) Obama spent most of his formative years in foreign countries as a child and was adopted by a foreign national stepfather in a country that does not recognize dual citizenship, it was suggested in the primaries by Hillary campaigners and in August by Philip Berg’s lawsuit that he might be an illegal alien since he refuses to present the evidence to a federal court to prove he is Constitutionally legal to run for president, So if you don’t support him you are anti-illegal alien and anti-American, If you do vote for him you are a criminal.

I think that hits just about everything. Again, that is using Democratic logic to prove that their shouts of racism, against anyone who does not support Obama is not only wrong, it falls apart under scrutiny. It is certainly not how the vasy majority of American’s believe. It is as full of crap as Whoopi Goldberg’s rude, idiotic, and yes (perhaps even racist) statement on “The View” that since McCain desires to enforce constitutionality in legislation, that he would repeal the Emmancipation Proclamation and become a slave again. Uh… Whoopi, don’t you even remember which party it was that wanted to free the slaves and which party has been continuously in supporter of Civil Rights for all? As was amply pointed out in another thread.

I have heard the same from others getting mails and garbage from leftists on how we conservatives are *evil* and other crap and that it is “racist” to not vote for Obama, no matter what he stands for.

As usual, the stupidity of the left in their spoon-fed lies ignor the fact that republicans have appointed blacks and other minorities to positions of great power over and over again and even had them in primary races for President. Wait, “ignor” is the wrong word… The left viciously attacks any minorities who are conservatives with language and actions, which if a conservative did it, would rightly be called racism.

But the left is held to no standards, though they put others under a biased microscope.
