If the Democrats win 60% majority of the House and Senate like they are hoping for this election, then Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, and the rest of the Socialists can and will change everything they can towards the Socialist agenda. Even the non-socialist Dems would buy into it as they would pack each bill with earmark treats they want and their lobby buddies are pushing them to make. If McCain should win instead and they still take 60% of Congress it still wouldn’t matter because thats enough to bypass veto. The only way to stop it is to not only vote against Obama, but to vote against every Democratic House Rep and Senator running as well. There are numerous Red states like Alaska that vote Democrat for Congress because of all the pork money they bring in, Democrat for locals and State Senates because of all the new civic projects they create, but voters are blind to the increased taxes they make. Then they vote Republican for president and Governor in hopes things will balance out. They need to seriously rethink those voting strategies or we are sunk.

How much damage can he do in four years? Carter was only in for four years and his changes were nowhere near as ambitious and wide sweeping as Obama’s. The economy started crumbling by Carter’s second year mainly due to inflation. It wasn’t until Reagan’s eighth year until the economy started turning back around again from a deep recession. However, it was still in serious hurting status during Bush Sr’s administration and he received most of the blame and Clinton used the “it’s the economy stupid.” line to rule for the next 8 years. What people do not understand is it normally takes 8-10 years for successful presidential economic actions to come to fruition and show it’s full effects on the economy. Reagans fix was slow because for the most part they were battling an unsympathetic Democratic Congress. It doesn’t come overnight, it takes 8-10 years good economical results to work out. You have to allow things to stabilize. Clinton’s economy was so good because it was constantly being overhauled and tweaked for the previous twelve years and he only gradually mucked it up.

What we are seeing now is not Dubya’s economy, it’s the tsunami of the Clinton economy finally hitting land full force. It will be another 2 years before we can expect to see the results of the Bush economy, but that is only if the next presidency and Congress does not start drastically screwing with it as soon as they get in. If Obama goes in and immediately initiates his drastic tax plans as they are now in the middle of this recession, within two years any positives from the Bush economy will be negated, and we will be in a Depression. Like the Great Depression, it could take two decades to fix it.

Joe the Plumber didn’t seek out Hussein. Hussein stopped at Joe’s home for a photo op that didn’t go as planned. Hussein shot himself in the foot with his Marxist tax policy answer to Joe the Plumbers question. He shot himself in the head today by sending his goon squad and the democrats Lame Stream Media thugs after Joe the Plumber. Yesterday I though Hussein would win, today I don’t think he will place or show. Showing the American people, before you are elected, that they will be subject to a 3AM knock on the door by the goon squad if you question the ‘one’ was a stupid move. Attacking a working man who works many hours of overtime in a drive to get ahead will not set well with working Americans. Time for the unions who are supposed to represent the working people to turn on Hussein and endorse McCain/Palin.

Hussein O is kin to Saddam Hussein, Castro and Chavez, at least in his tactics to control the population.

we can’t have3 a socailist country. what would happen if he was elected? could he really change everything to reflect his socialist way of seeing things? would congress allow it. and if they did, where would it stop, what rights do we have? he would probably only last 4 years, but how much damage would he cause in that amount of time? would we as a nation recover?
