    i live in washington, and let me tell you that we don’t trust our elections here. the elections dept. in king county (seattle) is so dirty, they had to keep “finding” bags of ballots that all were for the dem candidate. we had no idea who our governor was going t be, 3 recounts, first 2 went to the gop candidate, the last went tot he dem, so they went to court and stopped anymore counts so she would win. they have been trying to flush the elections system of all the fraudulent voters for several years and i don’t think they are done yet. thanks acorn.

    I’ll bet that when the Rescue Plan comes up for another vote the ACORN provision will be tucked away in it somewhere. I hope Republicans read the bill closely because the Democrats are sure to load it up with their favorite give aways.

    Again Acorn comes up in this, don’t forget Obama’s ties to this organization, Ayers, & others in the network of behind the scenes actions and activities. The Democratic primaries were nothing more than a changing of the gaurd. He even used socialization methods against Clinton. Review what happened with allegations of voter fraud in the Democratic primaries. If only most of the people supporting Obama would stop ooh’ing & ah’ing over him long enough to dig through and really examine what is going on they would be stunned. They are pawns being willingly duped by an eloquent politician, just as assuredly as the German people were fooled by Adolph and the Nazi party grass-roots movement. Only this time it is not fascism, but a socialist movement. The people claiming that a McCain-Palin administration would be like Christian Nazism, are laughing behind supporter’s backs. It is a typical ploy by these types to paint the opposing party as they themselves would run things. Some might try to reverse this and say that I am a Republican attempting to do the same. I’m not. I am an Independent Reformist Constitutionalist. I would normally support the Reform or Libertarian parties. But I’ve awakened and smelt the coffee the election. After doing the research and reading the signs, I realize that I cannot stand by and vote my heart this election and watch this great country fall to a radical movement.

    Obama was not a “community organizer” as most people would understand the term, that makes it sound like he was attending “bake sales” and arranging transportation for the elderly or handicapped to go shopping. Obama was a community activitist. A rabble rouser. The only “organization” he did was inciting people to outrage so he could send them off to protest the establishment. The Obama-Biden campaign has been hinting about an “October surprise” when we should be more concerned about an “October Revolution”.

    Acorn is one of the many socialist activist organizations created under the wing of Soros’ Shadow Party, that has been overtaking the collapse of our current government systems to allow for a more strongly entrenched socialist movement. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6706

    People please wise up and see this for what it is. There are reasons why gang warfare reins unchecked in our urban areas (high crime keeps the middle and lower classes upset and praying for change & to them any change will do). There are reasons why the protests are becoming even more violent than what we saw in the last century’s Anti-Vietnam and Civil-Rights movements (Fear is a great motivator). There are reasons why Obama followers lash out, scream, and feel compelled to slander and libel anyone who gets in their way. Obama was educated in politics under the Chicago school of campaigning. If things are not going your way, you have your pawns get ugly, while you distract the establishment with a continual flow of lawyers and lawsuits.

    Obama attacked McCain for not saying the words “middle-class” during the debate. Well the debate was about the Wall Street crisis and Foreign Affairs. Consider this; Did you hear him say a word about the homeless? No. Why? Because they don’t vote. He is supposedly the “Black” candidate, but has he mentioned anything specific as to what his administration would do to improve their lives or their communities? No. Why? He doesn’t have to, He’s taken it for granted they will vote for him blindly, without justification. Just Try this. Ask anyone who is loudly proclaiming their intentions to vote for Obama to give specific issue or policy based reasons why. You will be surprised how many can’t do it. They’ll quote the campaign slogans, “hope”, “change”, etceteras but this fluff means nothing if they don’t know what they are supposedly hoping for or when their candidate refuses to discuss what they plan to change, how they will change it, and why it needs changed.

    Their philosophy seems to be that everyone deserves the right to vote, whether legal or illegal, living or dead.

    @Rocky_B: Great post Rocky!

    I hear ya Joe. One thing I want to get out, I’m a convicted felon (I was a farmer that didn’t get gubment subsidies). I have full voting rights. Many people misunderstand the laws. To the best of my knowledge only Florida makes a felon petition the government for their voting rights back. Most states reinstitute them upon completion of sentence. Now, Handgun permits are another story. I will say no more.

    ACORN’s website has issued the following rebuttal:

    ACORN President Maude Hurd released the following statement today in response to the McCain campaign’s new ad claiming that, among other things, ACORN is responsible for the mortgage crisis:

    “For almost a decade, ACORN, a community organization of 400,000 families in neighborhoods across the country, has been fighting against the predatory lending practices that have robbed our members of their homes, destabilized neighborhoods, and roiled the global economy.”

    ….it goes on.

    UNBELIEVABLE!

    Speaking to a previous post, “The left cheats, then accuses the Republicans of cheating.” Google Saul Alinsky and DNC Corruption. How do we win against such tactics? As a christian, I pray and stand on God’s word. Truth always wins. Evil may prosper for a season, but ultimately, it will not prevail against good.
