This is the 3rd variation I’ve seen using that movie-I think the first was about cars but this is by far the funniest-like rush says, good comedy must have an element of truth in it
THE GIBSON INTERVIEW, WHAT REALLY HAPPENED…
(inspired by day-by-day cartoon of same theme)
“Who would cross the bridge to nowhere,
Must answer me these questions most unfair.” — Chucky Gibson
1. WHAT IS YOUR QUEST?
Vice President
2. WHAT IS THE MEAN AIRSPEED VELOCITY OF A BIASED MSM “INVESTIGATIVE” HACK?
Which network?
3. WHO AND WHEN WILL BE THE NEXT TO FOLLOW DAN RATHER TO THE BOTTOM OF THE GORGE OF ETERNAL PERILE?
That depends on how long it takes for your bosses to see you for the liability you are.
I saw this earlier. The first time I saw this was about Blue Ray vs HD DVD. Who knew Hitler was a comic genious? Too bad he was more into tragedy.
Pingback: House of Zathras » Blog Archive » Well, since we’ve had 8 years of ‘Bushitler’, I’d say turnabout is fairplay.
Yonason: Some of our younger readers (all two of them) may not understand the three questions and flight swallow reference.
Though they probably haven’t seen Monty Python’s Holy Grail either:
Thanks, Mike’s America
I wish my ability to imbed picks and videos wasn’t blocked by what ever program you have for that. But, it’s a good thing you can take care of it.
btw, here’s the short version for those who don’t have the patience to go thru the whole thing (ie., attention impaired), though why they would want to miss all the fun, I have no idea.

The Holy Grail. One of the best movies ever made. Bob and Doug McKenzie’s
Strange Brew, Caddyshack and anything by Monty Python.
The first version of this movie I saw was about the Patriots loosing to the Giants. that one was hilarious also, but this is the best one that I have seen. It is probably what is really going on in Camp Obamssiah.
DRBULLDOG&RONIN POST ANOTHER BY THE SAME FOLKS
CREEPY!!!
Yes I saw that one also. I have posted both of them on Friday.
Daily KOS will go Apesh*t over this.
Hitler… Hitler… come on guys. You can’t possible be ingorant enought to think that that crap is funny. I honestly thought that this was an election not comic central. Guys where are the issue concerns. I was truly undecided about whom I wanted to vote for. But the more I visit this site. I become more and more interested in Obama.
Bwahahahaha!
Watch out for those pitbulls with lipstick!
Hey Johnny-as if dude. Freaking troll-make a responsible/believable comment or go hike your leg over at KOS or DU. I love watching the left with their hair on fire over Sarah
Funny how the “Johnny’s” of this world didn’t object when Moveon.org posted an ad likening Bush to Hitler. But they huff and puff over a comedic portrayal like this?
Screw ‘em.
I forgot we can not make fun of Barack Hussein Obama, he is The One. He will lower the seas and stop Manbearpig by just uttering words. We must never question Obama. He is for “Hope and Change”.
I resent the charge that we young readers wouldn’t get the Holy Grail reference. I’ve seen it at least four times =D
As for the video, I’ve seen it in reference to the next generation video games (XBOX 360, PS3, and Wii). It’s quite hilarious, in that form and in this form.
Aeolus: Glad to hear you enjoy Monty Python’s Holy Grail as much as I.
But before I name you the exception to my age comment above, perhaps you could tell us how old you are?
I am glad that some of the younger readers have seen the classic “Holy Grail”.
“And they ate Sir Galahad’s Minstrel and there was great rejoicing, Yeah”
Those with BDS have often compared GWB to Hitler. Turn about is fair play!
Thanks for spreading the joy of this video, Mike.
To funny………. the video that is
Johnny,
Still waiting for a response here – http://www.floppingaces.net/2008/09/06/obama-you-disrepect-the-service-the-sacrifice-of-everyone-who-has-died-promoting-freedom/#comment-111828
I turned 18 not even 3 months ago. Just in time to vote for John McCain!
Then you are indeed young as well as exceptional!
I had a good role model, an Army Special Forces veteran from Vietnam. He was my JROTC Senior Instructor, rank of Major. He achieved that rank through a battlefield commission, believe it or not. He’s a die-hard conservative who believes in real people solving real problems through the free market system. He definitely helped shape my opinion and quickly averted me from straying to the left on some issues.
What’s so wrong with this video? Why are there people being offended? Like I said before, I’ve seen it in a different scenario, and I view it as just a comedic way of showing what Obama surely went through the weekend after the DNC convention. It’s not meant to say Obama = Hitler…
Aeolus: Hitler is a touchy subject. Mostly because a large segment on the left has insisted that President Bush is WORSE than Hitler for keeping us safe and interogating terrorists to foil the plots that would have killed thousands of lives.
These lefties have so warped their minds with hatered for Bush (and self loathing for themselves) that they confuse the meaning of good and evil.
But since they have set the precedent of using Bush-Hitler comparisons in a very angry and hateful way, that’s enough license for me to consider this comedic portrayal.
And as you see by the comments from Johnny, that’s not to be allowed. No criticism of their false messiah is to be tolerated.
Odd that the lefties who feel that way don’t see the parallel between their actions and the fascists in Germany in the 1930′s.
Umm…Hilter actively pursued and murdered political opponents that stood in his way, and attempted to take over an entire continent…Bush’s political opponents have gained control of 1 branch (arguably two branches in certain cases), and he’s attempting to spread democracy in the Middle East..
Yea, that so reeks of far right-wing fascist Nazi Germany. Just like since Al Gore never inhaled the grass, he is still a saint.
Your point is very well made Aeolus and it’s one I have made to the lefties who screech with more bile than brains on numerous occasions.
But most of these people do not even know what Hitler did. The schools they attended were too busy teaching global warming as fact.
I’ve often discussed my own visit to the first German Concentration Camp at Dachau outside Munich. That pretty much taught me the difference between good and evil and President Bush is on the side of the good.
Similar to the cries of “We went into Iraq illegally!” (I would agree, seeing how I think the UN is filled with nothing but corruption, the farthest removed source of government in the world has no chance at avoiding corruption) or “We aren’t respecting the Geneva Conventions!” (which only protect the rights of uniformed soldiers in combats, and possibly covert ops, but definitely does not protected individual groups of guerrillas who hide amongst the populace while fighting).
I refused to talk politics most of the time in my AP Government class because we had 2 Republicans, 5 Democrats, 1 Anti-Bush, and 1 Libertarian/Anarchist, and a Democrat-leaning teacher. I did more research than all of them combined, and would easily get them to agree with me on certain points or ideas, but they would all revert back to the anti-Republican dribble handed down to them by the media, MTV, and the like by the very next day. It pissed me off so much that, like I said, I just stopped talking politics so I wouldn’t get worked up for the rest of the day.
I can’t agree with you more on your blog post!
I never shied away from expressing my political point of view in either high school or college. In High School it wasn’t a problem, but I did have one or two liberal professors that tried to punish me for my opinions (they failed).
While conservatives may be in a minority in some large urban areas or academic settings we represent a majority viewpoint among those who care about political issues outside those isolated bubbles of fantasy.
Well I suffer from an amazing lack of patience with people who don’t want to think, so I found it difficult to converse about politics with my high school classmates. However, they all knew I was a Republican, and I never hid from those beliefs.
One thing that always bothered me, though…How can people claim the government is more efficient than the market system? What the government does is take money from the taxpayers (requires paid officials to run the IRS, and a lot of them), then give back to some odd percentage of them (say around 25%). This costs even the taxpayers money because of the time and effort required for the IRS to receive, sift through, and redistribute tax dollars to certain people. Most of this is done on paper, so there’s even more money. Then, in order to run these government programs, we have to hire even more people. They then have to sift through even more paperwork, go through more files, receive money from the Treasury/Congress, then redistribute that money to whatever.
Has there been any research done on how much a single tax dollar costs to utilize? I’m thinking the government has around a 60% efficiency rating on collecting and spending our money, which means 40% of each tax dollar is spent on bureaucratic nightmares.
Aeolus, I’m impressed, welcome, hope to see you here everyday!
Aeolus: I received my education on the inefficiency of government during my time at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I think your figure of 40% for government overhead is a bit low. At EPA we routinely expected the overhead of the private sector grantees to approach 40% (which did nothing to encourage any of them to be cost conscious). One of the programs I worked on at EPA were efforts to combat waste, fraud and abuse. We spent more money on bureaucratic exercises and guidelines to combat waste, fraud and abuse than we ever would have lost.
I understand your lack of patience in discussing some of these issues with people who are less well informed. I’m sure the liberal commenters here would be the first to tell you that I don’t always tolerate fools gladly either.
