As for the computer issue. McCain *does* know how to work computers. He’s quite sharp on how they function, he just doesn’t personally use them frequently because of his injuries.

Your an idiot, only a small portion of that ad was about how he couldn’t use the email, and it ties into the message that McCain is out of touch, not about any of his injuries, but let’s talk about some potential injuries that could have a major impact on his ability to run the United States. Anyone ever hear of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, paranoid reactions, thoughts of suicide, oh and the BIG one, OCCUPATIONAL INCAPACITATION. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want even the slightest possibility of our next President to have a paranoid reaction with his finger on the button. Also in his own book, Faith of my Fathers, he admitted to attempting suicide, so the chances he suffers from PTSD are looking pretty good. It is an ad that speaks directly to the younger voters who are incredibly tech savvy and that technology has changed how election are run. Look how quickly news travels around the internet and how ads and gaffs are immediately available on YouTube. Or how it is now a prerequisite that candidates have Facebook pages and groups.

While there are large groups of Americans who don’t use or understand computers, it does not mean that it is okay for the President to be one of them. My concern would be that if learning about new technology isn’t a priority to the potential commander in chief, would it continue to a priority in educating our children?

All young people entering the work force need to be able to use a computer, to put together documents, to research, to write an invoice for work completed, etc. Technology is a key piece of the puzzle that allows for our young people to be able to compete globally. If McCain doesn’t want to learn how to email, he should still stress the importance of it for everyone else.

Insatiable, why not go visit the Clinton Library and spend some time perusing Clinton’s emails… won’t take you long. It’s only two that he sent personally in his term. Then again, only one really counts because the other was a test to see if he could hit the “send” button….
